Before the tour, I googled reviews about the expedition, but did not find anything (by the way, it's strange, the company seems to have been around for a long time). Well, now it will.

Tour of Iceland, a full circle around the island, a very ambitious program. Unfortunately, things didn't go well from the start. The guide who was supposed to lead the expedition disappeared, and they were urgently looking for a tour leader and driver.

The driver immediately lied that he paid like everyone else (later it turned out he didn’t), and therefore everything will be as he sees fit, and he doesn’t care what the group thinks. He kept the steering wheel normal, but sat in a mobile phone, skipped turns, stopped only where he wanted to and was constantly rude, and in the end, after the indignation of the group, he generally began to hysteria.

The tour leader, although she was a nice girl, pleasant to talk to, most likely was not happy to be in Iceland for an extraordinary time and practically her role was to put marks on the maps for the driver. Very little time was always given at stops, and we often found interesting places just by chance, wandering somewhere. There were a couple of stories about Iceland and countless. She removed herself from the conflict between the group and the driver, she said - communicate yourself.

The logistics were ill-conceived, a lot of hours on the bus, including many hours of travel, which could have been avoided by choosing better places for hotels. Some tours have been canceled without compensation. The bus itself was an old Mercedes Sprinter with a duct tape roof (it leaked anyway), bald tires and leaking oil. Miraculously, we made an almost full circle and broke only near Reykvik itself.

But we were lucky with the weather, the group itself was very close-knit and cheerful, so the impressions were positive, but rather contrary to the company's service. What surprised me the most was not the attempts to save the company on everything, but the complete disregard for problems and sometimes outright lies. Given the luck with the weather and the cosmic beauty of Iceland, put in a bit of effort and despite the flaws, the group would be happy. Guys - if you are tired of the forwarding business - you need to stop in time, and not turn into a rotten office.

So everything is similar to what pasha wrote in his comment! And the same rusty bus, and the same dumb guides! Are not the same Vitaly and Polina ?! If you are going on tour with this team - think a hundred times! As you can see, they have such a system - a lot of beautiful promises and an absolutely terrible quality of service! And no one is responsible for anything!

Iceland is a magical country!!! It's impossible not to admire her!!! You will definitely fall in love with her!!! Go to Iceland for sure! BUT. . . Only not with the company "Hakuna Matata"!!! The organization of the tour was terrible!!! And we had not a youth tour with tents, but a VIP tour for a lot of money!!! And marked "All Inclusive". In fact, we were rented the cheapest accommodation, where there was not even a single bottle of water, there was no tea or coffee. I'm not talking about the breakfasts that we had paid for! We ate hot dogs and crappy coffee at gas stations - we weren't taken anywhere else! And we are not always so lucky! Sometimes they were just hungry! Our guides are not even guides at all!!! Vitaliy Matyokha came to Iceland for the second time. He could not say A SINGLE word about the country! Nothing!!! In the morning we ask where we are going? Answers: "Oh, I can't even remember these complicated names.. I’ll take a look now!” And this is a guide!!! And why did we need his girlfriend Polina?! We didn’t understand at all: just so that Vitaly was not bored and it was warm to sleep?! Well, she was also a model for Vitaly, because he was filming it all the time during our excursions and travels. Why did a guide go with us, who was not in the state, but who was simply "attracted"?! Why does he have neither experience nor knowledge? Why did the guide not say a single word about Iceland?! Why did his girlfriend go with him, and why did we pay her for this trip?Why did they live a week on "relaxation", drink wine and sit at night in a jacuzzi, and get up no earlier than ten in the morning?

Why was our food absolutely not thought out throughout the trip, why did we ourselves have to constantly look for somewhere to eat, as a result we ate some garbage or starved, and why did they take money from us for this? Why did we have an old, full of holes, with a hole from a once demolished hatch, which was sealed with a bag and through which water flowed mercilessly during the rain, with a broken door, with the inability to even turn on the music (since the guides cannot tell anything!) , on which it was not possible to drive everywhere? Why did we have to live together with Vitaly and Polina in the same cottage and at the same time cook for them, and then clean up after them?! We were not warned that we should live with them! Why were we settled in closets the size of compartments, where there was no water, no food, no opportunity to dry things after the rain that did not stop all day, and where it was impossible to breathe? Whereas there was a lovely hotel 15 minutes away from this "amazing" place with a cafe and a bunch of rooms available?!!! Why did we get wet in the rain all day and freeze in the wind, we, having settled in a closet with two trestle beds, could not eat at least once all day?!!!! Why was everything so horribly organised? Not a single household issue was thought out at all !!! The program and route were not thought out at all, everything was constantly changing and "redrawn"! We never knew what awaits us tomorrow!!! I really wanted not only to see or read on the Internet, but also to hear at least the names of the places where we were, some numbers, facts, stories ... Horror! NOTHING!!! So sorry for the missed opportunity! After returning, she wrote a letter three times to the director of "Akuna" - the letter was not allowed further than manager Tamara. Tamara also sent a reply "We no longer work with this guide." It's like a guide. Moreover, he never worked in the state. And the fact is that this travel agency works disgustingly! I would like to understand what services could be called quality? And in general, it seems that the main goal for our organizers was to save more on us ...
