Everything is very good for our difficult hour with some troubles

I planned a tour to Egypt in advance, and I had already decided on a hotel for my 60th birthday as a gift. Having decided to book in advance at the JoinUp travel agency, since the selected hotel was available for booking on the dates I needed, the cost was probably the lowest among competitors, plus a great promotion of -10% when paying with Visa Gold from Privat.

Booking and confirmation were made quickly, supporting documents were provided in my personal account. In general, there were no questions before the trip - inquiries were answered, consultations were provided by phone, all changes in the tour, and there were a lot of them, especially in March-April, when problems with air carriers began, were recorded in my personal account and by mail.

Now about the thorn in the side of the road. Flight on schedule, transfer to the hotel - great, then it turned out that my reservation was missing in the hotel system, I really didn't understand what the problem was, maybe the hotel staff wanted extra payments or something like that, when they finally made it clear - we don't have a reservation for you at all, contact the tour It was an unpleasant time that I experienced there, as they actually showed me the door...

It was a week and I even wondered if I would find someone on the weekend from JoinUp. But I was still able to call the support service and explain the problem. After an hour, the reservation appeared at the hotel. And I still don't understand what, or rather who, the reason was - the travel agency, their Egyptian partners or rather the hotel itself. Incoming call and explanation from support staff like check-in according to rules from 14-00 and reservation would appear - I don't accept it, it wasn't in the hotel system and the hotel manager explained it to me. Someone is not telling me something and this is a minus, I would like a detailed answer from the travel agency.
