I bought a tour to Phuket in December 2018. The itinerary receipt indicated the airport of departure - Sheremetyevo, departure time - 20.00.
The day before departure, a Sunmar employee calls me and says that the departure time has changed to 19.20, but the airport has remained - Sheremetyevo.
Arriving 3 hours before departure to Sheremetyevo, at the Royal Flights check-in desk I was told that the departure would be from Domodedovo Airport at 19.20. I took a taxi, took the toll road, but ended up being 20 minutes late.
Sunmar representatives not only did not apologize, but even began to hint that I myself was to blame. As a result, only a small share can be returned from the tour amount.
If I booked the hotel myself and bought a regular flight, then the maximum loss if I was late would be in the amount of one ticket to Phuket. But a delay in this case would be unrealistic - regular flights do not change the airport of departure in this way.
In the end, decide for yourself whether you need such an intermediary in travel. If for some reason (failure to obtain a visa, missed the plane, etc.) your vacation is disrupted, then you will receive almost nothing back from Sunmar.
I've made up my mind for the future...
