Before contacting a travel agency, we have already chosen a country, a resort and even a hotel for ourselves. It remained only to solve some nuances and find out the price for certain dates.
At the TrueTravel travel agency, Eugene suggested that, as an alternative to Sri Lanka, we also consider Thailand with a flight from Moscow. The cost of the tour was two times cheaper than with a departure from Kyiv. We thought and took a chance!
There were no problems when crossing the border with Russia. As a bonus, we spent the whole day walking around Moscow.
After a long flight we were in a fairy tale, we were welcomed at the hotel very well, there were welcome cocktails and smiling staff. The hotel is chic, I have been to many hotels, but for the first time in Thailand, this one is the coolest :)
When checking in, there was a nuance: all DELUX rooms were occupied and we were offered to spend the night in a nearby hotel, and for the inconvenience we were settled in CLUB rooms, which already included the cost of cocktails and snacks throughout the day. The room was large and luxurious, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. The rooms were cleaned daily, there were no complaints about cleaning.
We took breakfast, everything was delicious, there is plenty to choose from. It was expensive to eat at the hotel itself, it is not profitable to take lunches and dinners. But there are no problems with food in Pattaya, food is sold literally everywhere, there are many cafes and inexpensive street food nearby.
The territory of the hotel is not big and compact, everything was nearby.
The beach is sandy, the entrance is gentle, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. It was clean, both on the beach and in the hotel, everything was cleaned.
Thailand is a beautiful and cheerful country, where it is warm all year round and there are many interesting excursions.
Regarding Pattaya - it's better to go to the north, it's cleaner there, in the south - it often smells bad, and it's noisy in the center.
You can get to the center in 10 minutes by tuk-tuk (cost 8 hryvnia).
Pullman is a cool hotel :) We were delighted with the rest!
