A little about the hotel: Hotel Altpradi 3 *, located almost in the city center. The hotel is not new, but the reviews were mostly positive, and we only needed 1 night, by the way, it was the best of the three.

The only small minus was a small parking lot in the yard. We arrived at about 10 pm, almost all the places were already taken. Immediately at the entrance to the courtyard there was 1 place, and for some reason there was a chair. We set it aside and parked there perfectly, because we had neither the strength nor the desire to look for free parking on the street.

They put us in a 3-bed room. On the street from 0 to +4, and when we entered the room, it was so warm, so free: shelves, a wardrobe, a bench, a small table, a corner with another table ...in a word, free! There is where to stay. The bathroom has a heated floor, and what is most interesting, it is there that you can hear everything that is happening in the next room, but only there.

In the room, almost everything is made of wood, except for the furniture, the ceiling and partly the walls, according to the pictures, this is what he attracted us to and did not disappoint. Breakfast is normal, nothing out of the ordinary. In short, we liked it there, we can recommend it to those who want to spend their winter holidays there to go skiing in South Tyrol. Well, perhaps, about the hotel and everything in a nutshell.

Innsbruck was not chosen by chance, I have long wanted to see this city. It is located in a very picturesque place, in the Inn Valley, at the foot of the Brenner, one of the most important alpine passes. It seemed to me that the city is surrounded on all sides by mountains, wherever you look - snow-capped peaks are everywhere. Only half a day was allotted for exploring the city, so it was decided to take a sightseeing bus tour - Sightseer Tour. A ticket for 1 person costs 6.

30 euros for the whole day, you can ride the bus, you can get off somewhere, then take the next flight, flights every 40 minutes. The bus, of course, was a little disappointing, as usual, a 2-story excursion bus was expected, but it turned out to be like a regular regular one, which probably goes around the city because of the not very large number of tourists.

When we arrived at the Olympic fortification Bergisel to the observation deck, it was decided to stay here for 40 minutes until the next flight. The views of the city and mountains are amazing. There is a tower, at the very top there is a restaurant with another observation deck and high-speed elevators go up there, but we were not there, we were afraid that we would not meet the time.

Our other landing site was Ambras Castle. Entrance to the park is free, entrance to the castle is 10.00 euros per person. This is a kind of art museum, we did not go around all the halls and floors, 40 minutes for this is very little. I really liked the Spanish Hall with beautiful portraits of the Tyrolean nobility.

A very large park around the castle, in which peacocks with multi-colored tails roam and are not at all afraid of people.

There was very little time left for the city center, only a walk at a brisk pace. It was the Easter holidays with the Easter market and its essential attributes: hares and colored eggs (it's like ours). Therefore, you can’t go through, don’t push through, as usual, no one buys almost anything, I mean souvenirs, various wood products, etc. Well, where edibles are sold, there is a crowd and even queues. We didn't see much of Innsbruck, but we liked what we saw.

Way back home:

From Innsbruck to Fü ssen (and this is already Germany) 100-odd kilometers, but what! This direction through Telfs, Nassereith, Heiterwang, Reutte ...etc. - these are mountain passes, rocky mountains, alpine villages, on the roofs of which there is snow. Yes, yes, snow, snow lies all around, both on houses and on trees, just unexpectedly.

We didn't have snow in winter, and we only saw it in April. The speed is 60-80 km, you can’t accelerate anymore, and you don’t need it, in order to admire these landscapes, that’s it. For nature lovers, this is a real treat!

Who will have the opportunity to move in this direction, I highly recommend this road B 189, B 179, you will not regret it. Well, then, in Germany, a 2-hour traffic jam was waiting for us, but this is not so interesting anymore.

When a journey ends, it is always a little sad, but it warms the soul that other, no less exciting trips await us in the future. All successful and interesting trips!
