Hotel Gletscherblick has a good location, 5 min walk to the ski lift, opposite the biggest supermarket in Sö lden, ski bus stop 2 min. The rooms are good, not big but clean. Cleaned every day very well. There is a ski storage room (as in all Sö lden hotels) and a ski boot drying room. They fed breakfast: every day the same thing, but there was so much of it that it was not possible to try everything for the whole week. Was: porridge. fruits, yoghurts, 5-6 types of meat (sausages), 5-6 types of cheese, juices, tea, coffee, eggs, four kinds of buns, jams, nuts, milk, etc.
The only thing is that we were settled on the 4th floor... and after a whole day of skiing, it was hard to go up to the room)) but these are trifles. Also, it should be noted that if you want peace and quiet - this hotel is not for you, because it is surrounded by four discos from different sides and drunken Germans with music you will hear until 3 am. On the last day of our stay at night, even came the police dispersed them. The music didn't bother us, but our father couldn't sleep. Although, on the question of whether it was necessary to choose a hotel further (across the river), he categorically said no, because it was convenient to go to the ski lift (right in ski boots), there is a supermarket and 5 minutes to Freitz Arena. Freight Arena is a complex that includes: a swimming pool, saunas, a restaurant, a recreation area. I really liked going there after a whole day of skiing, then in the morning there is no crepitation, but there is vigor and strength for skiing) The Gletscherblick hotel gives subscriptions to the Freitz Arena for free for the whole week, the rest of the vacationers had to pay from 10 to 30 euros per day. This is a plus of the hotel.
We went to the Russian center, which is located in the center of the city, but apparently we were not lucky, and for the 5 times that we went there for 4 days, they were not there.

On Wednesdays in Sö lden, there is a Night Show on the mountain, so-so, but you can go for fireworks and parties with mulled wine and music (for a change in the evening).
Nutrition.
ON the mountain, lunch for two costs about 20 euros (we took all the portions for two as they were large for us): soup, ravioli, struden, 2 mulled wine; or soup, sausages with heat. potatoes, or french fries, pastries in a creamy sauce, etc.
In the city, the restaurant is a great variety. I liked the restaurant near the Freitz Arena more, there is a big iron bull near the entrance to the restaurant. They cook very tasty food. Prices are roughly the same everywhere: 50 euros for two: meat, side dish, salad, beer. I didn't like the vaunted Snow Rock Cafe, the ribs for 17 euros didn't make much of an impression.
