Traveled in January 2012 around the cities of Vienna-Budapest. We flew to Brno and from there we were immediately taken to Vienna (2 hours of travel). We stayed at this hotel for only a few nights, from January 4-6.2012. This hotel is not 4 star in my opinion. The rooms are small, not at all cozy and at night it was quite cool. There is nothing to make tea in the room. Only a paid refrigerator and a paid channel, about which everyone was immediately warned. breakfasts are standard: sausages, rolls, scrambled eggs.
The next day we had a sightseeing tour of Vienna, after which we were told that we could walk back to the hotel from the center of Vienna in 15 minutes. After walking all day in the evening, we went to the hotel hoping to spend 15, well, 20 minutes. We walked for 30-40 minutes. And the next day we already bought tickets for the tram. 4-5 stops to the center. Tickets are sold from vending machines in the subway. But nearby, 10 minutes walk is the Belvedere. Worth a visit, it's very beautiful. Vienna is very majestic and beautiful. Tour guides compare her to Peter. And they are really similar, only cleaner. The weather was warm, but strong winds and drizzling rain and constant gray, gloomy weather. In any case, you need to dress warmly for walks.
There are many shops in the center of Vienna, the prices for branded brands were a pleasant surprise.

Separately, I will write about the tour operator De Visu, for the first time we went through them to rest and were very sorry. host side 1000 roads. The escorts on the buses do not give any information where we are going, how long it will take, whether there will be stops... They told us we just accompany you. We were delayed for 30 minutes on a tour of Vienna, and when we were taken to Budapest, we waited 1 hour 10 minutes. People were simply outraged by such delays. In Budapest, confusion began with the settlement, someone was not on the lists. And as a gift on the way back we had Bratislava. So there is no way to pick us up in the morning and calmly give us a walk around the town, they took us at lunchtime, brought us for 3 hours, quickly, quickly and to the airport. In general, the program is not thought out at all.
And again this Brno airport (((This time we didn’t even start to issue tax free, because last year, when we returned from Prague, we stood in line for 1.5 hours and he threw away part of the checks. They say we don’t work with them. And this time they also forced me to take off my shoes, but without providing shoe covers or a rug on which to walk on.
