We constantly visit Bulgaria - in my opinion, at the moment this is generally a direction with an optimal price-quality ratio, provided that the hotel is chosen correctly, of course. Of the 5 times that we have been in Bulgaria, 4 times we chose Albena - this is a quiet family a resort where only on weekends you can see local residents and neighbors of Romanians who came to relax and swim, then there are more people on the beaches and in restaurants and many cars park along the streets. But from Monday - again silence and grace! The main pedestrian street - on which all kinds of souvenirs, restaurants and entertainment (mainly of course for young children, up to 7-8 years old: trampolines, karting, mini-golf, duck attractions, etc. ) in the resort 3 lines of hotels - the latter is located on a hill, among a pine grove, where there is magnificent air, although you have to go down the stairs to the sea and through 2 lines of hotels for about 20 minutes, but there is a train that you can take in case of emergency.
Hotel Kaliakra stands on the first line, 50 meters from the sea and has 2 buildings, a new one - 9 floors with more spacious rooms and a modern interior, and an old one. The restaurant is shared with excellent and varied cuisine, at the same time very suitable even for small children - there are always cereals with milk for breakfast, boiled meat and chicken, baked fish. Juices - apple - local, very tasty - the rest are some kind of chemical. Large selection local wines and herbal teas, amazing pastries and desserts, ice cream, in short, there are no problems with food! And even on the beach! they carry drinks during the day - a girl from a bar near the pool - I have never seen anything like this before! The sea is clean and the beach too, every evening they clean the sand with a tractor with a special "comb", in July, when the sea begins to "bloom" and after the storm everything is removed from the water algae (near the Gergana hotel, for example, algae not only occupied the coastal water, so you had to wade to clean water, but also rot in heaps on the shore). Cleaning in the rooms is also normal, bringing shampoo, soap, shower gel as you spend, there is even toothbrushes and razor with shaving cream.
There is also Wi-Fi in Kaliakra and three computers in the lobby on the ground floor with cards bought at the reception for 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours. There is a pavilion by the pool where, under the guidance of an animator, a child can paint a plaster figure, there is also animation by the pool and evening discos. But exactly at 22-00 everything calms down, and at 23-00 in general the whole of Albena dies out and goes to bed. So for a family holiday it is an ideal place. , excursions and yachting - there would be a desire!

While talking with our permanent travel agent from Solvex, I heard from her the phrase "Albena and Kaliakra is the only place where I am not ashamed to sell tours! " I completely agree with her, the only negative is that places in this hotel are sold out very quickly, they have not been available since the end of February!
