Again I read negative reviews about Bulgaria and Albena. I decided to write my own. We rested for four (2 adults and two children aged 6 and 2.7) at the Slavuna 3 * hotel.
We bought a ticket to Solvex, everything is OK. Many thanks to the manager Ekaterina Krot St. Petersburg on Vasilyevsky, she treated us with understanding of our incompetence in everything, because we flew for the first time and were generally abroad for the first time. The flight went well, without delays and overlays. In Varna, we were met by a representative of Solvex. Plamen, a very nice man, on the way to the hotel he talked about the Albena resort and gave a lot of practical advice. Check-in at the hotel at 14.00, we arrived at 1.30. We were promised accommodation earlier, but we had to wait exactly until 14.00. Of course, our children were terribly tired. We didn’t get enough sleep, we were hungry, and the situation was new. to the room, we were FULLY DELIGHTED!!! ! This is probably the best room in the hotel. 8th floor, 2 isolated bedrooms, a common living room, 2 bathrooms with a shower, a large corridor and 3 balconies with chairs and tables. True, there were no clotheslines on the balconies, but we There was a mini-bar, we sometimes used it for the purpose of the refrigerator, despite the fact that it is forbidden, and they didn’t show us any bill, there was a safe in the room (for money), there was an iron, ironing board, hair dryer , shampoos and balm. The room is in excellent condition, recently renovated.
The hotel is located right on the seashore, you go down in the elevator and you are already on the beach. The hotel is the penultimate one along the coastline, only Gergana is behind it and there are no 2nd and 3rd lines behind it, so there were always not many people on the beach (this is in July). The restaurant is also on the seashore, there is an indoor and outdoor room, there was also a bar on the street where they prepared pizza and poured various drinks. The food is ordinary, no frills (sausages, eggs, pasta, potatoes, meat, fish), once every two weeks there was an evening of Mediterranean and Bulgarian cuisine. The truth was always delicious: pancakes (you had to stand in line), super veal, fish, good quality wine and beer, pizza, ice cream, cooked delicious grilled vegetables. Many people write that there are no freshly squeezed juices in Albena . NOT TRUE!!! ! Every day there were juices from pears and apples, very tasty!! ! In the mornings there were delicious muffins and croissants. there were always free sunbeds and it is NOT TRUE that they have to be occupied from 7 in the morning. Let it be 4-5 rows, but they are always were free. However, many people left their towels at night, like they were busy, but I think that this is over impudence. The sand is clean, though on the 4th day a lot of algae nailed, after a small storm, but if you go a little beyond Gergana, then there were no algae in general, there were no people either, only locals rested there, which didn’t bother at all. The sea is warm, but not fresh milk, at first it’s cool, and then it’s FULL. About the ALBENA resort as a whole: 1. the resort is not cheap in terms of entertainment, shops, fruits. In neighboring villages, everything is 2 times cheaper.

2. The territory is large, a lot of greenery, flowers, many people think that the territory is not well-groomed, everything is in a decadent state. WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING DESCENTAL, though the attendants go to work by car and EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTELY ALL sidewalks were clogged with transport. I had to walk straight along the way, it was very annoying.
3. Many children's attractions, playgrounds are very good, my son climbed all the cars and all the playgrounds of Albena.
We didn’t go to the pool, there were 3 of them near the hotel, it smelled a lot of bleach and there were always a lot of people there, like a herring in a jar, it didn’t attract us. Especially since the sea is nearby, maybe that’s why we managed to avoid various infections.
TOTAL:: : I liked Albena, but next time I would go to the south of Bulgaria, they say that there is a different climate, a different cuisine and a hotel I would choose where there are not many people (I am depressed by a large number of children, although my son is 2.7 years old ), I wouldn’t take ALL INC. because my little one didn’t eat anything except pasta, vegetables, juice, tea, muffins, though he felt great. Albena is not a residential city, there is no Bulgarian flavor, it is a resort town, which opens in May and closes in autumn. In winter there is no one there, so the prices for everything are very high. IN GENERAL I LIKE ALBENA, but next time we will go to the south of Bulgaria. If you have any questions, write
