The hotel is 3***+, although the site says that ****. However, that doesn't make him worse or better. It was my first time in Bulgaria, so there is nothing to compare. The hotel was 70 percent Germans, the rest Irish, British, Russians, Poles. Everything is very decorous, I would even say sometimes prim. If you need a quiet, calm resort, sunbathing on the beach, traveling with children, then this is what you need. There is no such bustling party life here as, for example, in Sunny Sands, where I went for a walk a couple of times. Everything is teeming with it, a hotel on a hotel, a lot of everything and a lot of everyone.
In Gergana in the morning, a very decent buffet. I have read on the forums that the latter do not get anything. This is not the case. We arrived at almost 9 pm and bought dinner (buffet) - all the food was on the ground. And this was strictly adhered to during the entire time allowed for breakfast or dinner, which by the way costs about 8 Euro. At first, I ate enough that I got up a little - I wanted to try everything. Only a couple of days later I came to my senses and remembered the figure. There is a small fitness center, but I never went. Laziness was.
They have a "team of animators", these guys from morning till night try to somehow entertain fat-bellied Germans, children. At 21-00 they always organized some kind of performance. They introduced the audience lying by the pool to aerobics, various games, and led a children's club. The guys are very friendly, they speak German, English, Bulgarian and Russian (not all). In Albena, everything is clearly more expensive than in neighboring resorts. Products, restaurants, transport, other services. From Gergana 20 minutes to Kranevo, where everything is half the price. But Kranevo reminded me of Crimea. Not a very well-kept beach (but it's always fun there), a lot of guys from the camps, the village itself is very different from decent cottages to old huts. The staff in Gergana is local Bulgarian, and therefore, unlike Turkey (where prefabricated teams are recruited), they are more motivated. Finding a job is not easy, especially in coastal regions, so they hold on to it, and, accordingly, treat customers as customers : ). Yes, and the owners of the hotel also seem to be on the alert and do not rely on the Bulgarian maybe. For example, I noticed a sign in the toilet that cleaners should fill out, indicating the time of cleaning, their full name, and signature. Straight ISO 9000 : ).

In general, I liked it, although I saw dissatisfied Russians who complained about something at the reception, but on the other hand, they sat at the buffet away from everyone and stuffed bags with food : ) and with a very serious look walked along the tables with food, methodically, preoccupiedly imposing plates. During this event, I found out who came from where.
