We are staying at this hotel from 29.12. 2011 and until January 9.2012.
I am writing this review on January 1.2012.
The biggest problem of the hotel is that it is very cold, the radiators are just a little bit warm, and the size of the 3-room apartment is about 92 sq. m. The hotel is not able to heat such a large room on the last 5th floor.

On December 30 at 18.00 we came to the hotel restaurant in order to order dinner, the waitress accepted the order, but in the end at 18.40 she came up to us and said that they could not serve us, because they had complex dinners ready and they offered we pay for dinner and take what is already ready,

December 31 - in the morning we turned to the reception in order to find out what New Year's program and what menu would be, unfortunately we were not given any program, we had to go to another hotel for the New Year's program. (the cost of New Year's dinner is 70 euros for an adult and 35 euros for a child) As a result, for the new year we were left hungry and dissatisfied.
The fact is that they serve mainly Bulgarian dishes (usually lamb, but many do not like lamb), as an entertainment program there were Bulgarian songs and dances until 24.00 and after 24.00 until 2.00 at night Bulgarian folk songs were played, to which the Bulgarians danced , and it was not very interesting for us guests from Ukraine. And such a program and cuisine in almost all hotels in Bansko for the new year. I ADVISE you not to go to Bansko for the NEW YEAR, but to meet it in your homeland.
On January 1, I could not stand it because it was so cold in the room that I had to ask at the reception to change the room. As a result, one of the staff came to us and offered to give us an electric heater. Now, while I am writing a review about the hotel, we are just waiting for the heater, So far they have not brought it. For the sake of justice, it should be noted that the room is not bad for families, because.
the number of beds in the room is 7 pieces, but in one of the rooms (living room with kitchen) it is so cold that you can’t even go there. The hotel has a sauna and a small pool, there were no problems with this, you can use it for free and everything worked. The big problem is the elevator, it was obviously completed separately and it is located outside the building, it is very cold in it, before I went to the hotel I saw other people's reviews that it was very cold in the elevator, but did not attach any importance to them, and understood the problem of a cold elevator just when I arrived at the hotel. The fact is that everyone moves around the hotel in home clothes, and when you go from the pool or from the sauna back to the room, you have to go into the elevator in which the temperature is about 0 degrees. And when your head is wet, and it is very cold in the elevator, you yourself understand that you can get sick very easily. Only that they brought a heater, turned it on in one of the rooms, I don’t know how much warmer it will become.

Conclusion, I do not advise you to stay at the Grand Montana Hotel ****, look for another thousands of them in Bansko, Or take a heater with you. The town itself is not distinguished by particularly beautiful architecture, Zakopane is more beautiful (this is my subjective opinion). But in Bansko there is snow both in the city and in the mountains, and this is very important. This is my impression after three days of being in Bansko.
