Very even nothing!
The tour operator who sent us was SNP-tour (Moscow). The meeting party is Tural. A positive impression was formed immediately after getting off the plane. We were met by a representative of the meeting party Alexander, a very nice young man who shared brief information about the country, the resort, told where it is better to change money, rent equipment, gave us an advertising booklet with all kinds of excursions and information on what to do in certain situations with telephones of managers for emergency communication. A lot of people flew to Bansko on our plane, but at this tour operator we were apparently alone, so we went by car, the trip took about 2.5 hours. We lived in the Bellevue Residence 4 * hotel, we bought tickets on a special offer, a week for two with visas cost 38800. The price included a Spa center. The location of the hotel itself is very convenient, it takes 7 minutes to walk to the ski lift, to the main street with all kinds shops 5 minutes. From the hotel to the ski lift they take you by minibus. The hotel has equipment rental, skis and poles for 1 day cost 10 lev = 200 rubles. Equipment rental on the mountain is 2-3 times more expensive. There is also an inexpensive rental if you walk along the road to the ski lift opposite the wooden stairs (you won’t pass by) the cost for 1 day is 12 lev, you can take it for several days at once, the cost for 5 days is 48 lev = 960 rubles. This is convenient for those who do not want to ride all day and do not want to be tied to transport, because. minibus to the ski lift from the hotel runs every 30 minutes from 8-00, and pick up from the mountain from 15-00. We don’t like to ride for a long time, a maximum of 4 hours, so we walked to the rental, changed shoes, left our shoes there and 3 minutes to the gondola with equipment. The cost of a ski pass is 55 lev per day = 1100 rubles, from 12-30 you can buy for 1/2 day for 41 lev. You can buy or sell your ski pass near the ticket office or at the exit for 25-30 levs from those who have already skied, if you come around 12-30 hours.
Now about the mechanics: there are many of them, barkers stand at every step and persuade you to come in in every possible way.
We visited many establishments, they cook very tasty food everywhere, they speak Russian and are very friendly, but one establishment caused negative emotions. I don't remember what it's called (it is located away from Perin Street). The barker there was Uncle Zhora, a retired KGB colonel (that's how he introduces himself to everyone). The hostess of this establishment is portly, similar to a gypsy, Aunt Lilya. What we immediately did not like, she began to forcefully offer us all kinds of dishes, and sell what we did not want to order, without even letting us read the menu. They cook for us, however, as elsewhere, it is very tasty. There was a delicious "sormi" (like dolma in grape leaves). as a result, a liter of wine was included in the bill, which we did not order and was surprised for a long time, "why didn't you really order wine? ". I note that in this institution there are only 3 or 4 tables. She brought us an extra cake (the most expensive of all that we ate there - 6 lev pieces everywhere from 2 to 4) and brought us a double portion of meat with vegetables, although we ordered one for two - 600 grams. Naturally, it was impossible to eat such a quantity, and I had to pay an extra 23 leva for meat. And yet, this is the only institution where we were not given a check, the bill was written by hand. There was no more desire to go there.
Where did you like it:
The most delicious and satisfying soups in Mehan "Balganiya" on Pirin street. In addition to standard soups: chicken, offal, and beans, there is something like our cabbage soup and borscht in the Bulgarian style. A bowl of this soup with a garlic bun or tortilla and a glass of beer makes you feel full until dinner.
The further you go along St. Pirin from the ski lift, the cheaper prices in Mehany. If you walk a little further than the Church of the Holy Trinity on Pirin Street (10-15 minutes on foot from the ski lift), there was a howl that offers: "2 lion soup, 2 lion flat cake" (you won't pass by) there is a restaurant called PRI BAI VERCHO, there is a very nice atmosphere and they pour 100 gr. for each visitor for free. Rakia or a glass of wine (serve hot if desired). By comparison, if you want to drink hot Rakia, then it costs 5-7 leva (usually 3 per 50 gr) and about the same wine. Soups are so ordinary, but the second one is very tasty. We ordered pork ribs for 8.5 lev = 170 rubles. - 400 gr, and they didn’t find a single rib, only meat, well, very tasty and cheap.
Prices are cheap everywhere, which allows you to feel like a person and not deny yourself anything.
About excursions: we ourselves were not, but our friends went to the thermal springs and were very pleased.
Have a nice holiday and good weather!
