Chapter IV. reception


This important word refers to the reception desk in the lobby of the hotel with a thoughtful or kind girl behind it. The girl, as a rule, speaks several languages ​ ​ with varying degrees of success. On one of them, she will tell you about the services provided by the hotel, about the opening hours of the restaurant and bar, call a taxi and tell you the weather forecast for tomorrow. Your stay at the hotel begins with registration at the Reception and ends there with receiving a card with address registration. To remind yourself in the interval between these two events, we recommend that you come here to hand over or get the key to the room, quarrel or simply distract the girl (see above) from work with idle talk. Chapter VI. About medical services, or how insurance works

In the event of an insured event, you must call the phone number indicated in the insurance policy (this call can be local or international - in this case, you will be given a receipt at the Reception, the amount of which is restored by the insurance company). Within half an hour, a doctor serving this insurance company will come to you.

Depending on the conditions of insurance, a doctor's visit is free or costs money. If the visit is paid, the doctor will issue you a certificate to restore the money upon arrival home. Read more in your insurance policy! If necessary, contact a representative of the host travel agency, who can assist in the event of an insured event!

A typical souvenir for Bulgaria is a bottle of rose essence (very cheap, besides, you can pass it off as rose oil on occasion) or a bottle of the real famous Bulgarian rose oil (terribly expensive, a certificate of quality is attached). As a gift, you can also bring good local wine, honey, high-quality expensive cognac, brandy (the hardest national alcoholic drink) or mastic (anise). Cookers also look nice - folk nosed, hairy horror stories that drive away evil spirits. They are sold in the form of dolls or masks.
