Back in Sozopol
A year later, I again managed to relax in my beloved Sozopol... The voucher was purchased in advance from the Apollonia-tour travel agency, which employs professionals in their field. Everything was precise, clear and exactly according to the program. I flew to Burgas with Donbass-aero... I didn’t have time to drink 150 grams of ballentine with tomato juice, as I was already there. Transfer to the hotel and an hour later I'm already at the sea... I won't name the hotel, because every year it becomes more and more difficult to get into it... The owners of the hotel organized just a super homely atmosphere... Compared to the trip before last - very many cars with vacationers from Sofia and Burgas... And, of course, our CIS brother was added, who often behaved inappropriately... There are a lot of young couples with babies... New private hotels have appeared. A supermarket was opened on Republicanskaya Street, but out of old habit we went to the wholesale market at the entrance to Sozopol. The euro exchange rate against the lev has not changed much in two years. - 1-90.1-95. Food prices are stable. Tomatoes on the wholesale market from 1.5 to 2.5 leva, peaches 2 - 2.5 leva, apples 1-1.5 leva, bacon 10 leva. Prices in restaurants are different, depending on the location and the tasks that they set for themselves. Near the beaches - everything is pretty cheap and fast - you can eat for 10-15 leva. More expensive in the old town. One serving (300 grams) of tsipura fish and bluefish (a type of sea bass) in the restaurant "Old Sailor" costs 22 leva. . . Many real estate agencies have appeared, the prices of which have increased by 10-20 percent compared to 2008, depending on the location . A plot of 40 acres with a small house in the countryside far from the sea is estimated at from 2 to 10 thousand euros. The average cost of a studio of 40-60 sq. m by the sea is from 40 to 60 thousand euros.
The weather was not bad, at first a little windy, stormy... Then the sun... Air 26-28, sea 23-24. The beaches are of average quality... In the center the car cleans, in the new city it's a little dirty... I hate pig smokers who bury their cigarette butts in the sand. There are many of them, both among former compatriots and among EU citizens. As always during this period, an art festival was held... Concerts, performances, films, exhibitions. In art galleries, our CIS citizens often swept off the shelves and walls everything that was exhibited and offered as "masterpieces of Bulgarian and world art"... There are a couple of interesting artists in the Laskaridi gallery... I won't say their names...
Two weeks of rest made it possible to go to Istanbul - the city of contrasts, as they say in the famous comedy... The Bosphorus is beautiful as are the Istanbul markets.
Overall the holiday went well. . .
Next year again in Sozopol. . .
