And I flew to Bulgaria. Again. 5 times already. And back to the mountains. Beautiful there. Damn good. This time the whole family - four of us - and the children - daughter - 5 and son 1.5. And this time we were lucky there as never before. This is how it all happened, as planned. Just wonderful.
Moscow 27.01. Sunday morning. The roads are not yet filled and we are rushing to Sharik. Everything went quickly and without problems. On the Aeroflot plane, we were given a number of seats for passengers with children - good and at ease. Moreover, special food was brought to Kinders. - Thanks for this and for many other things to the travel agency and personally to Alexei Krasin. Do not take it for advertising, but really a good company - the fifth time with it already and there were no problems. ("Travel agency. ru"). The flight went well. The ears did not hurt much in children. Maybe Zodak helped with Nazivin. 2.5 hours flight and Sofia. We go as a bar alone in the whole minibus. Except us - no one. More than an hour and here it is - Borovets. Around the snow and degrees 5 minus. Hotel Flora. 4 stars.
We are waiting for 1 hour and exactly at 14.00, as scheduled, we go to 307B. Honestly, I was worried that I would get something wrong, but everything was OK - I didn’t expect for sure that there would be a separate kitchen, that there would be a laminate in the room, that there would be a heated floor. Convenient - I came, I put the boots on the floor, and by morning they are warm and dry. In general, I liked the room inside and out. Clean, spacious, quiet, 3rd floor. However, I didn’t find rags - the kids are messing up and there is nothing to wipe with. The food at the hotel is good 4 points - standard breakfasts - scrambled eggs, yogurts, vegetables, fruits, soups, breads, desserts, coffee machines, milk - In general, you won't leave hungry for sure. I didn’t like only the daily monotony of these breakfasts, but everything was always in bulk. We also had dinner at the hotel. And good dinners - I can only say that there were always at least 3 meat dishes. And there was meat and sausages. Even lamb was given somehow and ingot-byurek. We cooked porridge for the smallest in the kitchen. They brought oatmeal from home and bought milk in the store.

We dined as a rule in local mechanics. Inexpensive and tasty enough. I will say that for all the time none of us suffered from any bellies. Everything about this was OK. The food is quite tasty and edible. As a rule, they did not eat 2 times in one mehan. Were in White horse, Hrima, Katina, Titanic, I don't remember a couple of other names. Liked in Katina, White horse, Titanic. Prices are different everywhere. They can differ by almost 2 times. So the soup can be for 70 rubles and 140 (I give all prices already in rubles). And the taste is about the same. From the dishes, try everything that your eyes fall on. We liked their tomato and lamb soup, garlic flatbreads, grilled meat of course, homemade wine. Leisure flew by quickly and imperceptibly. Daughter quickly realized what she likes here most of all - horses and a pool, as well as sleds, argamaks - but less - she did not want to carry them upstairs herself. You can ride a pony and in a cart from 100 rubles and more.
I advise everyone to take a survey of Borovets - a little money, but you will get pleasure and an idea. After all, Borovets is not such a small resort as it seems. There is also a church and the residence of the Bulgarian kings. In general, the prices for everything suited us. They are approximately equal or slightly lower than in Moscow. The clothes are really seasonal there and don’t ask for discounts on them there - in Moscow everything is the same and for the same money, or even cheaper. For food and services and souvenirs - bargain - they will give way. We also had time to go skiing. Ski pass for half a day - from 12 to 16.30 cost 600 rubles for all lifts. This was enough for the two of us - at first one with the other rides Kinders, then vice versa. The routes are different. But everywhere it is pleasantly good - I did not observe cones and stones. We rode mostly at the bottom - it happened - and were quite satisfied. This time they climbed up to Markudzhik only once - and that was a strong wind. In general, the weather was good all the time.
Even when it was really raining 2 times and it was impossible to go outside without getting wet. After lunch, one time the rain changed to snowfall, and the other time it passed and passed. In general, it was minus 2-4 at night, up to +6 during the day. And nothing - normal snow, normal tracks and children are not cold : ). Beautiful clean air, warm sun, happy children. What else do you need from a vacation? There is also a swimming pool every evening. Ooooh! It is something. Children squealed and jumped with delight. Everything is great! We all enjoyed it very much. Would I like to go there again? Undoubtedly. Pleasant atmosphere, convenient location of the resort, sufficient proximity to entertainment, good prices, service, friendliness of the Bulgarians, this time there are few Russians in the resort - I don’t know if this is a plus or a minus. Would I like to buy an apartment there? Definitely not. Comparing with 2005 - our first time - I did not see any special changes in everything. Yes, they added a couple of hotels, a dozen mechanics and five strip clubs.
And the rest is the same Bulgaria as it was. With the same lev course, with the same young Bulgarians who no longer speak Russian, with the same Frets on the roads, and unusual two-story houses on the roadsides.

The taste of rakia has remained the same, but I would like it to feel as aged as cognac, and this is unlikely to ever happen.

I wanted to add a couple of points. If anyone is traveling with small children, the stroller-cane helped us out a lot - although there was snow around, it would be much more difficult without it, but with it - at least somewhere - it will fit on a cart and put it in a cafe. About the course and where it is better to change - in the resort the course is the same everywhere - 1 euro - 1.908 leva. Only in one place - in the Crown change exchanger located on the street leading from Rila to Flora was 1.92. Constantly. Even in my opinion last year the same course was.
And also about snow - the Bulgarians have some strange concept about snow removal in parking lots and streets - they seem to have equipment, but the snow was lying in the parking lot, and it was pouring and pouring - like you need it - clean your car yourself. Everywhere there is some indifference about this.
