I want to share my impressions about the rest: the period of August 17-24. I flew to Bulgaria for the first time. We flew from Kyiv to Burgas. Upon arrival, as always, all hotels were taken away, ours was the last one. What we saw along the way is horror and a nightmare, "hotels, cages, birdhouses", masses of vacationers, the smells of food, in general, not a fountain. A little upset. When you arrive at the hotel, two thoughts:
1. Beautiful, majestic building of the hotel is impressive;
2. the sea can be seen somewhere far, far away, which at first saddened us, although we knew that the hotel was on the second line.
Hotel:
The territory is not big, very clean and well-groomed. The design of the hotel is a separate story that can be told endlessly. Each item is a work of design art, from furniture to sanitary ware, bed linen (it is beige and crispy), towels (to match the linen and for all parts of the body), bathrobes (there are men's and women's), slippers (they are black and velor)....The hotel has its own emblem, which is placed almost everywhere, even squeezed out on the sand, poured on ashtrays at the entrance....And what a pleasant music throughout the territory (in the corridors, elevators, spa). You can't describe everything - you just have to see it in person!
Receptionist:
The administrators almost never smile, they speak Russian very badly, and during the settlement we had disagreements, the solution of which revealed not very pleasant moments in communication and attitude towards us as guests. The day before departure, we decided that we would leave the hotel for the airport by taxi, asked to call a taxi by a certain time, and warn the representative of the travel agency, in the general bus, so that they would not wait for us or look for us. As a result: we calmly have breakfast, enjoy the last moments and suddenly... a commotion, they are looking for us, the bus does not leave, everyone is nervous..... And at the reception, the administrators just changed and no one knows anything. By the way, a taxi to the airport costs 120 leva, i. e. 65 euros.
Nutrition:
Had breakfast and dinner buffet. The menu is quite monotonous, but everything is of high quality, deliciously cooked, beautifully served. Breakfast is ice-cold champagne. For dinner, all drinks are paid, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Very tasty soups, always available dishes of chicken, pork, beef, fish. Naturally, there can be no question of any queue. Of the seafood, there were only lobster tails and squid rings in a thin crispy batter. Yummy!! ! Delicious bread. Sweets, fruits, cheeses, sausages. . . I was pleasantly pleased that the restaurant always had free tables, both inside and outside. All dishes are constantly added as they are eaten, so you can try everything. We tried almost all Bulgarian white dry wines at dinner at the hotel, very decent, the cost of a bottle is from 35 to 80 levs. A cup of coffee - 5 lev. I do not recommend paying extra for lunch, because. lunches are held on the territory of the Royal Park Hotel with queues and dirt (according to neighbors). It is better to eat deliciously on the beach in cafes.
SPA:
STUNNING beauty. Prices are very reasonable, a wide range of services. In extreme heat - the best pastime. Hamam with massage and peeling - 55 euros.
Beach:
In fact, the distance to the beach is 500 meters. The path passes through the villas and along the Royal Park Hotel. Walking step for 8-10 minutes. Just what you need after a meal. If you want to go by electric car - order at the reception, back - on the beach at the bar you need to tell the bartender to call a car for you. But I warn you, you can wait for a car for a long time, and there is a queue. The beach area is separated, beautiful folding beds, with mattresses, all for free. Towels for the beach, in exchange for a card, are issued by the SPA. At the entrance to the sea, indeed, there are large pebbles for a meter, but this can be experienced. The sea is clean, warm, gentle...
Rooms:
Very large double room. Two huge TVs. Large round bed The toilet area is very large: a bathroom, two washstands, a shower room, a toilet room (toilet and bidet). Excellent air conditioning (very powerful), safe, internet. The room has a coffee machine and capsules with natural coffee, it's free, ie. you can drink a cup of coffee at any time of the day or night. There were no complaints about the maid, we left 2 leva every day.
Contingent:
Ukrainians, Russians, Germans, Bulgarians.
In conclusion: a calm, magnificent, measured rest, few children. There are no entertainment events in the hotel, so if you want to hang out - take a taxi and go to the sunny beach.
We enjoyed the holiday. Really, there is something to see and get real pleasure from the comfort and stay in a real castle. Thank you, Bulgaria, for this piece of PARADISE!! !
