Just returned from Bulgaria, I want to add a few words:
1. POSITIVE.
Pleasant atmosphere in the hotel, "not burdensome" staff, for a quiet, passive holiday.
Food: normal, fresh, without any frills. Enough food and fruit to not stand in line and not feel uncomfortable, no matter when you come to a restaurant.
Room: clean, cleaned every day, try.
Beach: normal, sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge (you need to borrow at 7-00 in the morning to get soft, ordinary ones, no problem).
2. NEGATIVE.
Sea: algae, stones....nowhere to swim.
SPA: expensive, regular massage about 40 euros / session
NEIGHBORS: hotel guests are mostly people with small children (the feeling of being in a kindergarten).
ENTERTAINMENT: no.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE: it is better to change money at the airport, the rate is low at the hotel.
