I have been going to Bulgaria for 20 years already - I love this country very much, I instilled the same love in my children. I especially appreciate the cordiality and hospitality of the Bulgarians. I rested along the entire coast - but for some reason I especially fell in love with Nessebar - I have been coming back here for three years in a row. This year we decided to try not a big, but a small family hotel. There were no reviews, but we decided to be guided by the convenient location and go at random to the Grand Plaza.
It started with how we were greeted. They drove to the hotel, the owner came out. Greeted the driver, approached him to chat. We, two adults and a 5-year-old child, stand in front of two front doors and wonder where to go. We decided to go where it says "welcome". Then the owner noticed us: "Where? What, don't you see where we should go? " It's instead of "hello". Further is better. In a boorish manner - listing what is not allowed in their hotel. But this is not the main thing. The main thing is the tone in which it is pronounced. You immediately understand that you were on a business trip to the Scoop, and not to a resort. Room - it seems that someone specifically tried to make it as inconvenient as possible. The walls are rough plaster, which is used for outdoor work, there is so little space that you have to squeeze past the bed, the refrigerator does not open normally, the bathroom is a fairy tale in general: a roll of paper near the washbasin, and a hand towel directly above the toilet, draining the shower right at the entrance to bathroom drain constantly clogged. So after taking a shower, washing your hands or going to the toilet is problematic - you will stand in a puddle. Cleaning for two weeks - the vacuum cleaner was three times, the towels were changed once (towels - three for three, if you want - wipe your face, if you want - legs), the toilet bowl and washbasin were not washed NEVER, the bed was not changed NEVER !! ! All cleaning, especially the last week - every three days - garbage collection.
Any request to the owner - in response, only discontent and rudeness. Upon arrival, we were warned that after 12 at night the door was locked, they did not say the code. The second week we come at 21-30 - the door is closed. They called - the owner ran out and began to yell that "this is the first and last time. Next time he won't let him in - we will spend the night on the street. "

So this is the rest.
I realized for myself: a family hotel depends entirely on the owner. If you want to visit a boor and a pig - stock up on your rags, "Domestos" and antiseptic wipes - and you'll come to the Grand Plaza!
PS. When leaving, the child said: "Let's go to another country next time. " Although before that, after last year's vacation, EVERY day asked "When will we go to Bulgaria? "
