My and my husband's vacation coincided in early July, and together with a 4-year-old child we decided not to go to stuffy Egypt (35-40 degrees) and hot Turkey (the same temperature), but to Bulgaria, native to all "Soviet" people.
Moreover, the climate there is mild, continental, and the Black Sea is gentle, not as salty as other seas.
Well, Bulgaria is traditionally considered a place of economical family and children's recreation.
The air temperature ranged from 19 to 30 degrees, and the sea is warm, somewhere around 23-24 degrees.
We used the services of the Eliotour travel company. A company for economical and nervous tourists, but all the same, they worked like clockwork with us. Everything was good and efficient.
We chose the Amphibian complex on the first line of the sea, built a long time ago, as we were assured by solid three stars.

We flew on Boeings both there and back. There with Vim-Avia, and back with Nordstar. The flight was pleasant. There were no problems with luggage. The Bulgarians personally did not rummage through our luggage. The only thing in Burgas for a long time stood in the green corridor - the queue.
Now about how Bulgaria met us. And she met us on two rainy days with a temperature of 19 degrees, when in Moscow - 30 degrees. But then the sun came out and the beach turned out to be really sunny.
Two cool days were spent getting to know Nessebar. The city is over 3000 years old. It is under the protection of UNESCO. And we were completely fascinated.
Red tiles, cobbled streets, flowering geraniums on the windows, restaurants open until the morning and souvenir shops. And in the evening the city is fabulously illuminated with lights. We walked around the city tirelessly. We took a ride on a boat and admired the city from the sea. Private yachts from luxurious to unpretentious are parked on the pier. In general - a miracle.
If we talk about Sunny Beach, then this is a typical resort town with a well-developed infrastructure. You can do shopping, and sit in a three-star restaurant, the portions are huge, and the food is delicious, and there are two largest water parks on the coast, and many private mini water parks at the hotels. And there are two amusement parks, one in the new Nessebar, the other on the sunny beach in the center, which is located near the Kuban hotel. Attractions - extreme.
Now about the beach and the sea.
The beach is sandy, very pleasant, large and wide, the approach to the sea is free everywhere along the coast, since the beach is urban.
But commercial services are paid. In the commercial area you will be offered a sun lounger, an umbrella and a cleaner beach without cigarette butts and plastic bags. All this for 7 leva - about 140 rubles a day.
And of course in the cafe - drinks, pizza, etc. They carry corn, donuts and fruit salads along the beach.
Unfortunately, my husband's beach shoes were stolen on the penultimate day. This is the only downside. The sea is clean. transparent. The approach is very smooth. That is, it’s good for children, a zone with a knee-deep depth extends up to about eight meters from the shore.

I got the impression that I was swimming like in an aquarium, along with schools of guppies, with catfish crawling along the bottom, as well as crabs, mini-mussels and algae. There was too much algae, in my opinion, until they were swept out to sea in a light storm.
Finally, let me tell you about the hotel.
The territory is well-groomed, extensive, at least three minutes to the beach. Design from coniferous plants. Three swimming pools with jacuzzi and children's areas, with sun loungers.
The staff is polite, the rooms are cleaned, things are not stolen. The setting is minimalist. The room has air conditioning, beds, TV, refrigerator and chairs, bathroom and shower in the room. Balcony.
At night, music is heard from the shore until one in the morning. But you can fall asleep and put the child to bed.
The only downside is the food. The husband whined a lot because of the lack of the usual abundance and buffet, the child ate only french fries with ketchup, chocolate balls with milk and watermelons.
But it seems to me that everything was at home, only nimble Poles and Bulgarians, and the Germans sorted out all the food as soon as breakfast, lunch and dinner began, and we had to ask the staff to give what was originally offered. The choice is not rich, but quite edible. They gave us homemade sausages, cutlets with cilantro, Shopska salad, sausage, boiled eggs, cheese, and cucumber soup and a lot of pizza. For sweet jam and muffins with rolls from the store. Wine and beer.
Entertainment - definitely a water park and a Bulgarian village with a restaurant, visit and be satisfied. In general, a rich selection of excursions with Russian-speaking guides will be offered to you at the hotel.
Thanks to the hotel staff for their unobtrusiveness, smiles and wonderful pancakes with chocolate and ice cream, presented so kindly at our last dinner.
