We visited Avalon from 10.07 to 20.07. 13. The cost of a tour by bus in Ukraine for 3 adults (son 16 years old) all inclusive 1300 oiro (+ for visas 55 oiro for each). We drove 28 hours. I thought it would be worse, but in reality we were not very tired and the fellow travelers were adequate.
We drove up to the discotheque "Grand" from where we were brought by bus to Avalon at its main entrance. And here is the first impression - a construction site. It was at 13.30, but they settled in and put on the bracelets at 14.00 in principle, so that we wouldn’t eat them from the road (lunch until 14.00). The appearance of the reception is quite decent and there is also an exchanger with a normal rate, as in all exchangers that do not "throw".
Settled in a pretty decent room on the 5th floor overlooking the road and the hotel "Meridian". This is normal, since most of the rooms overlook the windows of nearby hotels or the previously mentioned construction site, well, at best, the pool in which children yell all day. There is an elevator, but there is only one key fob from the elevator, and if someone went to the room earlier, then the rest scribble to the top, swearing quietly (they don’t give it anymore, it’s forbidden).

My wife immediately found flaws in cleaning, namely dust and dirty tiles in the shower, as well as the lack of trempels in the closet, for which I was immediately sent to the reception, where, after a long explanation of what I want from them, I got 6 hangers.
The room has 3 excellent beds with clean linen and soft pillows. Large mirror, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, conder (everything works). The carpet on the floor is quite clean and odorless, and a huge display-type window with doors to the balcony.
The balcony is huge with a dryer, a table and chairs, and as a bonus, I also brought a sun lounger from the pool, since there are plenty of them (although when I asked me to bring it, all the staff told me that this is prohibited and enshrined at the level of international agreements of the countries of the European Union and NATO ).
In the bathroom there is a sink, a mirror, a hair dryer (working), a toilet, a boiler, a shower cabin (hot and cold water was available all the time), a small window (there are rooms in which not only there are no windows, but also cabins; for example, a shower hangs and a hole in floor), well, it doesn’t shine with cleanliness.
There is no territory as such. Swimming pool with sun loungers, umbrellas, which are enough, unlike mattresses (if you ask, then no). The water is clean and not very chlorinated.
The so-called restaurant is a canteen, but honestly a sign hangs that this institution has 2 stars. Feeding is quite edible, monotonous, but it should be understood that for such money you will not be cooked foie gras with raspberry sauce. There were no stomach problems. Alcohol is also acceptable and the choice is large (white and golden rum, whiskey, gin, regular vodka and their brandy and all sorts of liquors, wine). Tables are not cleaned during meals, only dishes, they don’t give water to the room (go buy it in a store on site).

The bar by the pool is open from 10 am to 10.30 pm. The bartenders are lazy and arrogant, and one of my Ray Ban glasses was stolen, which I forgot on the counter. In general, the theme of theft in the hotel is thriving. My wife's tunic and a new bottle of tanning oil were dragged away by the pool while we went to the room. Points after threats. that the call to the police was returned, but the tunic and oil were not. The staff at the reception are all boorish and lazy; what you don’t ask, it doesn’t exist or it’s impossible. They take money for the Internet, but it often does not connect, and they make a fool out of you.
And the most important divorce of the hotel; This is not the first line, and not even the second or third. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the sea via three roads.
In general, the impressions of the hotel itself are not bad, but everything crosses out the attitude of the staff. Bulgaria is such a wonderful country. We were in the Bulgarian village and drove through the mountains in cars, 2 times in Nessebar. Everyone loved it and the weather was great.
