Rested in Bulgaria for the first time. Since we had a trip with three children (11 years old, 7 years old, 1 year old), we took the choice of the hotel quite seriously. Unfortunately, there were few reviews about the Baikal Hotel. It's a pity - the hotel really deserves its stars. I want to share my impressions about it for those who go on vacation with children.
The room was quite spacious and tidy. Large double bed (the baby slept with us - there was enough space for three). For older children, a single bed and a folding chair-bed were placed in the room. In addition, there was also a sofa, a table, a chest of drawers with a mirror, a wardrobe, and 2 armchairs.
The bathroom is simple and tidy. The room has air conditioning, hair dryer in the bathroom.
The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed - every 2 days, linen - every 5 days, soap, shampoo - every 3 days.

The hotel has a swimming pool - there is a shallow area for kids and a zone with different depths for older ones. Sun loungers, umbrellas - free of charge. One problem - you need to go out at 7 o'clock, throw in a towel to "score" the sunbed, otherwise you are content with a place on the grass on a towel.
To the sea about 5 minutes. The beach is clean, sandy. Sunbed 8 lion (about 4 euros), the same amount of an umbrella - it's expensive. Therefore, on the first day it is worth buying a mat and an umbrella - the prices are quite affordable, as well as for glasses, slippers, air mattresses, balls, etc.
The sea is shallow, warm, children are calmly splashing in shallow water. I was worried that we were going in June and the sea might be cold. However, the weather was excellent, air temperature - 30-35 degrees, water - 22-24. It was annoying that in the last two days floating biting centipedes 1-1.5 cm long appeared in the water. And purposefully prey on people. Bite marks are not visible, but it does not deliver pleasure.
There is simply no Internet in the hotel - it strained - after all, the soul craves communication. There are three computers in the lobby - 10 minutes - 1 lev. True, the device eats coins, which is bad, and at the output - a miserable semblance of communication. In recent days, WiFi was installed, but after paying 1 lev for 20 minutes, I tried to get online longer than I was there. I spat, and decided that I would rest on vacation, and not freak out. I hope that the staff will make an effort to solve this problem - Europe after all.
Regarding food - took a full board. They didn't regret it. The food was tasty enough. And the choice of dishes for a 3-star hotel is quite decent. There were always fruits (alternating) - oranges, apples, watermelons, peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries. Drinks, alcohol, ice cream - the whole day. The children were delighted.
I was pleased that the restaurant has special chairs for babies - very convenient, you don’t have to hold it on your hands.
The number of people strained - at lunch it took a long time to look for a free table or wait for someone to eat and leave. But this is understandable - the hotel is popular, so there are many guests.

Poles, Russians, Germans rest there. There are a lot of families with children, and very small ones.
I have read reviews that it is noisy in the evenings. Not true - the glazing is good, the sound insulation is normal. The windows of our room overlooked the road and the golf course - with the windows closed it was quite quiet. And the presence of air conditioning in the room does not imply open windows.
The staff is very polite and responsive. Lots of Russian speakers. And if they don’t understand, they quickly find someone who can understand and translate. We had a problem - the flexible hose in the shower was torn off. The husband reported to the reception - the hose was quickly replaced.
In general, the impression of the hotel was very good. I will recommend to friends and acquaintances. Yes, and we will probably choose it again next year.
