We just returned from Bulgaria. We spent an unforgettable week there. After reading all kinds of reviews on the Internet, we chose a hotel for a very long time, and went to the one that was advised to us by the agency. Initially, we chose a 5 * ALL hotel, but on the advice of a travel agency, we took a hotel with half board - breakfast and dinner, which did not regret at all.
Now a little about everything.
Hotel.
Well, what can you say if everything was fine? They settled us in 1 minute, perhaps because we arrived there alone that day and they were waiting for us. The room was cleaned daily, towels and linen were changed on time, toiletries were also always replenished daily.
Food at the hotel.
The buffet is not breakfast and dinner. There is a lot of everything, you can find something for every taste. As you eat, fresh portions are constantly served.
But the food outside the hotel is generally a separate issue!

Many restaurants and cafes - for every taste and budget. Huge portions that can satiate a hungry man with a good appetite! And the prices... In our native Kharkov, for the same money in a restaurant, you can only feed a primary school student. As an example, I will give our dinner for two in a restaurant in Old Nessebar. greens and fried in batter, grilled meat platter (such a huge plate with different types of meat fried on an open fire, decorated with vegetables and herbs, serving weight - 500g, and this is really a lot of meat, we couldn’t finish it, it just didn’t climb), fruit salad for dessert, Coca Cola and a half-liter decanter of white wine. For all this pleasure we paid 24 leva, which is about 12 euros (the exchange rate of the lev to the euro: for 1 euro is -1.9 leva). So consider for yourself, who is not too lazy.
Sea and beach.
It is not for nothing that the Sunny Beach beach is marked as one of the best in Europe. This is an ideal beach for kids - the most delicate sand, which even in hot weather does not heat up, but remains warm and gentle (we could not solve this phenomenon). you go into the sea - you go, you go - and everything is knee-deep. You even get tired until you get to the depth. But when there are waves, you can wallow in them absolutely calmly - there will be no injuries. Pure water, silk sand... A fairy tale !
You can write a lot about Bulgaria for a long time! Admiring the sea, walking in the evenings along Old Nessebar (the town is protected by UNESCO as a cultural heritage), you experience such peace and pleasure from this beauty that you forget about all your problems. In a word - if you decide to spend your vacation in this country - do not hesitate - go! And you will want to return there again and again!
