The only plus of the hotel is its location, the sea is nearby, three minutes walk to the beach, the view from our room was directly on the sea (9th floor), the entire promenade was visible. Yes, in the evening, when music is turned on in the surrounding cafes, it is noisy, somewhere before midnight or one in the morning. So if you are traveling with children, not the best option. And in general, my advice is - if possible, choose a hotel that is located near the beach, do not listen to travel agents who will assure you that it takes only 20-30 minutes to walk to the beach, believe me, in the heat, even 15 minutes will seem like an eternity . And if you also need to drive up to the beach, then there is no point at all, because. bus fare in Sunny Beach is not at all cheap, a ticket costs 1 dollar.
For the first three nights, due to the fact that there were no places in the Palace Hotel (this happens), we were placed in the neighboring Slavyansky Hotel, which is much more interesting and better than the Palace. For some reason, there is no main entrance in the Palace, it simply does not exist, there is a barrier in front of the hotel doors, and two doors, one to the mini-shop, the other to the hotel. When, after Slavyansky, we arrived at the Palace reception at 12.00, we had to wait until 14.00 until they settled, although earlier the Palace administrator promised that they would be settled much earlier. By the way, our Bulgarian guide, when he drove back to the airport, noted that this hotel had a bad attitude towards tourists, no care.
The room was not clean, the linen was changed 1 time in 11 days, cleaning can be said not to be done at all, for the sake of appearance they waved a broom, throwing garbage under the beds, bedside tables. Breakfasts are standard, as elsewhere, from fruits they gave apples and bananas. In "Slavyansky" a set of fruits was better and the rooms there are much more spacious.

I do not advise you to have lunch and dinner at the Palace, it is very expensive. However, due to the fact that Germans, British, Poles love to relax in Bulgaria, the prices there are more designed for them. And yet, they really don’t like Russians there, this was noticed by many who rested. This is felt in the cafe (foreigners are trying to serve quickly, Russians are approached with a completely different facial expression, or they may even forget about your order). I guess this is due to the fact that foreigners leave big tips.
As for the beach - excellent, the sand is clean, gentle, warm sea, people, and we were in the very season - not a lot, i. e. do not push each other sideways. The beach is wide and perfect. The sea is clean.
The weather was also wonderful, not a single rainy day.
In general, if you do not bother, then the place to stay is good, especially with children.
