We rested at the Regina 3 * hotel with my husband. The rest was from June 21 to July 2.2012. In general, I really enjoyed my vacation. Sunny Beach Resort is a great place to relax for both young people and families with and without children. Hotel Regina is very close to the sea, of course not by the sea, but about 5 minutes walk to the sea. The sea was clean almost all days of rest, only 2 days before departure a lot of mud and green algae washed ashore. The water was warm all the time. Also, a 5-minute walk from the hotel next to the sea is the main central alley of Sunny Beach, there are many cafes, restaurants, bars, attractions and various entertainments for children and adults. There is also a clothing market there. Not far from the hotel there is a Zora supermarket, where you can buy inexpensive fruits, sweets, other products, as well as inexpensive alcohol. There is a small shop on the territory of the hotel, which is open from 08.00 am to 23.00 pm, it has everything you need (cosmetics, soft and alcoholic drinks, juices, mineral and drinking water, chips, sweets, etc. . ). The most important thing in this store you can buy a phone SIM card for calls abroad. It costs about 10 lev (about 50.000 Belarusian rubles) + 10 lev (account replenishment). But the card is enough only for 2 calls for 2 minutes if you call in Belarus. It is better to go and call from a booth (located next to the hotel, walk a little ahead), 1 minute costs 1.23 lev (about 6000 Belarusian rubles). There are many different hotels around. Behind the hotel Kuban about 500 m ahead there is a GRAND disco. In principle, a normal disco, on certain days there are several rooms with different music (in the 1st, for example, Bulgarian, in the 2nd - Latino, in the 3rd hip-hop, etc. ), there seem to be about 10 rooms . We hit only one, on the 1st floor. The music, in principle, was normal, but this disco is visited mainly by young people from 15 to 20 years old. So if you are over 30 years old, then it is better to go there with your company of about 6-10 people to have fun. I went with one woman (I am 32 years old, she is a little older), there was a little discomfort due to age, but I still liked it, I did not pay attention to anyone and danced. NOW ABOUT THE REGINA HOTEL: The hotel corresponds to its 3 *. We arrived around 10.30 o'clock in the morning, we were lucky and we were immediately settled, although 2 days before our departure we observed how people who arrived at the same time were waiting until 13.00-14.00 p. m. But I think that this is not a hindrance, in almost all hotels the check-in is at 14.00. You can leave your things under the stairs in the hotel, change clothes and go to the sea. Nobody will take anything from you. It is better to put money and documents in the hotel safe. There will be a separate safe with your own key. I don’t remember how much we paid for the safe, but it was inexpensive and immediately for 11 days. It is better to exchange money in an exchanger with the Crown emblem. No one will deceive you there, and the course there is good. During our stay there was the following rate: 1 Euro=1.91 lev, 1$=1.5 lev. You can change in other exchangers, just make sure that there is an inscription "NO COMMISSION". If you see a rate of 1.96 or 1.98, then immediately ask what the purchase rate is or ask them to calculate how much you will receive for your amount of leva. That. you will see what their buying rate is, some indicate the selling rate. I ADVISE you to take a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the back of the hotel (garden with playground), because. overlooking the pool is beautiful, but there are constantly children frolicking, screaming and you may be disturbed. But as they say, this is an amateur. We had a garden view room on the 1st floor. The room has: two beds pushed together with bedside tables +1 single bed, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, wardrobe, toilet and shower unit together, washbasin. There was no hair dryer in our room, although there is one in the apartment. There was no outlet for a hairdryer in the bathroom, so I had to turn off the refrigerator, turn on the hairdryer in this outlet and dry my hair (I buzzed my husband with a hairdryer under my ear. )))) So in general the room is quite normal. The furniture, of course, is not new from chipboard, but for us it didn’t really matter, because we came to relax, and not fall in the room. About the outlet, just in case, I wrote a request in a review for the hotel. I advise you to also fill out a hotel review questionnaire and give it to the reception (this questionnaire will be on your table in a folder with the inscription Regina). Cleaning in hotels was carried out daily (the floors were washed), but of course the pastel should be changed every 3-4 days, we were changed only in the evening on the 5th day, and then only after I informed the reception about it 2 times. The 2nd time they didn’t change the bed, apparently they considered that we had 6 days left to rest and we shouldn’t bother ourselves. Well, I just wrote this, in principle, this is a small drawback of the hotel. In general, he arranged for me and maybe I will stop there again. The food at the hotel was good. We had All Inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). Breakfast from 07.30 to 11.00, lunch from 12.00 to 14.00, dinner from 18.30 to 21.00 Also from 14.00 to 17.00 ice cream, drinks, pizza and sandwiches . During lunch and dinner, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea are also included as much as you like. From 11.00 to 23.00 there is a lobby bar in the hall near the reception, where you can take as many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as you like. Near the pool there is a small free bar and a paid bar (open until night). The swimming pool near the hotel is large enough, there is also a small children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas near the pool are free of charge, but it is better to take them in the morning around 07.00 h, otherwise come and everything will be busy. If you leave a towel on a sun lounger for the night, the towel will be removed and given to the reception, respectively, the sun lounger will not be occupied. ))) We ordered vouchers at the Astravel travel agency from Natalia (Minsk). I really liked working with them, everything was clear with the documents and in general I liked how they could tell in detail about the hotel and recommend which one is better to choose, taking into account your financial capabilities. When we arrived at the airport in Burgas, a representative from Teddy Kam (the company representing the interests of this travel agency in Bulgaria) was already waiting for us. We were taken to the hotel by bus, quite comfortable, the guide told us a little about Bulgaria. From the airport to the hotel Regina about 30-40 minutes drive. A woman representative from Teddy Kam came to the hotel every day except Saturday and Sunday, from whom it was possible to book various excursions, she also marked in a special folder 1 day before departure to Minsk the time of departure of the plane and the time of departure from the hotel. We were only on 2 excursions: 1st - Stone Forest (Shumen) and fishing on a yacht (yacht picnic). I really liked the 1st tour, but the 2nd one was just awful! We sat from 09.00 in the morning until 13.00 and caught fish that were not there. Then they brought us lunch - 1 fried mackerel + cabbage + boiled potatoes, everything was cold. We survived fishing only until 13.00, in fact, it was necessary until 15.30. But the excursion to the Stone Forest is SUPER!! ! There was also a visit to a stud farm, riding a horse or in wagons, then visited a farm with ponies (there were many of them, and they moved freely, there was a lot of space), then there was a wine tasting at the factory, then visited the caves, then the stone forest. People also praised the excursion to Sozopol with a visit to Burgas. Our friends took their 8-year-old daughter to the Pirate party on a yacht, they also really liked it. I LOVED EVERYTHING, the travel agency Astravel worked well, the staff at the hotel is very friendly. The food at the hotel is good, but you don’t need to try everything at once and in large quantities on the 1st day, this is my advice to you. By the end of the rest for 2-3 days, everything will seem not diverse. And it's just that you tried everything in the 1st day. )))) SHORT REST WAS SUPER!!! ! I advise you to visit Bulgaria and hotel REGINA 3*!!! ! I wish you a wonderful holiday, I envy you white envy. I would still fly to Bulgaria with great pleasure!! ! Victoria, 32 years old, Belarus, Minsk.
