arrival
There is a small airfield in Burgas, we had to stand in line for passport control for a very long time in a room without air conditioning.
The representative of the Neva directed us to a minibus, where there was only one other couple besides us. We arrived well.
room
There are 3 Coral hotels in Sozopol. Ours was on Lazuren Bryag Street in the New Town (there are also in the Budjaka beach area and in the Old Town).

Hotel "Coral" is small (63 rooms), settled immediately, no queues. But the room did not have a sea view. The representative of the "Neva" said that the contract does not stipulate which room, with or without a sea view, will be provided at the hotel. We just got unlucky. But to the question: “Is it possible to change the number? ”, - we were told that it would be possible only tomorrow and we would have to pay extra. And a day later we didn’t want to start all this fuss with the move, especially since the veranda of the restaurant and bar overlooks the sea (we were afraid that it might be noisy). But, since there is no animation in Coral, our fears were in vain. True, they smoked all the time on the balcony of the bar, and from the side of the street that our room overlooked, the smoke of cigarettes did not bother us.
The sea view can be enjoyed at breakfast or on the veranda of the bar. The hotel is located on one of the shores of the bay, so opposite the hotel you can see the other side of the old city. The boundless expanses of the sea are not visible, but in the evening the remains of the fortress walls in the old city are very beautifully illuminated.
Our room 206 overlooked Losengard Street, which, fortunately, was not noisy. In the morning until lunch, there was sun on the loggia balcony, but it did not enter the room. It was hot, so we didn’t live with an open balcony, the air conditioner saved us. When the balcony is closed at night, there is no noise, if you open it - sometimes drunken Germans yell and in the morning a car collecting garbage cans makes noise.
The decor in the room is new (the hotel was built in 2006), the furniture is beautiful, stable (which turned out to be especially important, because the promised fitness center turned out to be paid). The room is spacious - two beds pushed together, a table with a minibar (it contains paid drinks), a TV, a telephone, 2 glasses, a floor lamp, 2 sconces, 2 full-length mirrors and one above the table, 2 bedside tables with table lamps, a chair, 2 coffee tables , a sofa bed, a closet that had extra pillows and a blanket, air conditioning that automatically turns off when you open the balcony. We love the air conditioner! The bathroom is large - a bathtub, a toilet bowl, a hairdryer, a telephone, ventilation that turns on like a light from the corridor, convenient hooks and stands for toiletries. We were given a magnetic key, when you remove the key from the cell near the door, all electricity is turned off, except for the minibar and air conditioning.

They cleaned every day, but we never saw the maid, it seemed that there were several of them. Linen was changed every 3 days. For the first week, towels were changed every day, then - according to an incomprehensible schedule, but if you catch at least some maid in the corridor or on the stairs, she will change the wet towel, despite the fact that the cleaning in your room has ended. Upon arrival in the bathroom there were 2 gels, 2 shampoos of 35 ml each, a small soap (when they ran out, new ones were not given), in the closet there was a travel sewing kit.
nutrition
The restaurant is not big, with a veranda. The food is bad, there is no variety. The first time I met such a buffet, when vacationers come for breakfast with their products (someone brought cocoa, someone brought pate, bread, jam; we went with our ketchup and teaspoons, however, after I once I forgot a plastic spoon on the table, the next day they put teaspoons). Here is a set of products: tomatoes, cucumbers, 1 type of cheese, 1 type of cheese, 2 types of sausage, 1 type of muesli, 1 type of cereal, 1 type of balls (dry breakfast), 1 type of jam in small packages, butter, sour milk, finely watermelon sliced (on the first day instead of watermelon there were transparent apple slices), scrambled eggs, sausages, fried lula-type sausages, fried bacon, puff puffs, juice, water, coffee, milk in a small milk jug. Everything is somehow small, it’s not even convenient to take it. Always the same. Sometimes, however, they gave lemon, sweet pasta or poorly fried french fries. After numerous requests, they began to put another small milk jug with hot milk - for muesli.

Beach
Near the hotel there is a small Central Beach, but we did not like it - there are too many floating algae. You are swimming. like in a web. And due to the fact that on both sides of the beach there are bays, it seems that you are swimming in a pond. Harmanite beach is 10-15 minutes walk, but there are a lot of people, fenced paddling pools, and lifeguards do not allow swimming even with not very big waves. We went to Budjaka beach, 20-30 min walk. Rescuers there are calmer, there are fewer people. The water is clear, the sea is clear turquoise, but algae are found everywhere. But there were no "sea leeches" or biting chkryachki, as in Albena. Toilets were not found on Budzhak, but on the way to the highway you pass through a line of cafes, each can satisfy the need for 0.3-0.5 lev.
impression

The room is great, the restaurant is bad. The town is not big, but there is little greenery and a lot of cars parked on the sidewalks. The old city is interesting, but the coast is lined with restaurants, except for a small section of the fortress wall and the marina area. If you want to admire - go to a restaurant (with all the ensuing consequences).
We made the mistake of reading reviews and spent a lot of time looking for recommended restaurants. My advice: eat at the nearest one if it's not very expensive. Were in the vaunted "Mehana Chuchura". Did not like. Lamb sach is very similar to an ordinary potato with stew from a can. Yes, they deceived us there (we realized this later) by at least 10 lev. That's where I liked it, so it's in the restaurant "Zoya".
We went to Nessebar and Burgas. To Burgas 30 minutes by bus, to Nessebar from Burgas 1 hour, not 30 minutes, as in the reviews. Nessebar is more interesting than Sozopol.
