We rested in Costa Bulgara from August 31 to September 7.2012. Together (my mother and I). We got together for a trip in just a week. I couldn't find any reviews for this hotel on the internet. Therefore, I hope that in the future my review will help someone in the choice. We spent a lot of time at passport control. About an hour and a half in a terrible crush and acute lack of air. It so happened that 3 planes flew in at the same time. People very quickly began to freak out, and many came to rest with very young children who, in such a terrible stuffiness, began to cry. At 20.00 it was already dark. We arrived at the hotel late (about 22.30 local time). While we were driving to the hotel, we first brought tourists to Amon Ra, Selena Beach. When we drove through the city, we were very happy with the abundance of shops, cafes, everything is very nice. And a little disappointed when we arrived at our hotel. Because there is simply nowhere to go for a walk here in the evening. The hotel itself is good, everything is neat and clean. But a very small area. One building with 69 rooms. Opposite it, a second building is being built (it spoils the view from the window a little). There were no Russians at the hotel when we arrived. Mostly locals rest because of low prices. There are a lot of vacationers with children, because the sea is quite shallow. Of the pluses: air conditioning in the room (although we only used it on the day of arrival, because it was very stuffy in the room, then we just left the door ajar), free internet (wi-fi, and you can also take a cable to the reception, though , it is short, about a meter). In the restaurant on site you can have lunch and dinner for money (if dinner is not included in the price). We only had breakfast included. Lunches or dinners on average here cost from 12 to 25 leva per person (although, depending on what to take))). But in Chernomorets we dined once, lunch for two cost 11 leva. The beach is sandy, more or less clean, a lot of algae. True, we were not very lucky with the weather, for several days it was cloudy in the morning and a high wave. On the second day we decided to take a trip to Chernomorets. Walk 2 km, about 30 minutes. True, in the heat it is not very comfortable to stomp on foot. And when you walk down the road there is a chance to get hit by a car. There is no pedestrian zone, and the road is two-lane and very narrow, in order for two cars to pass, you need to pull over to the side of the road. Chernomorets is a small coastal town, you can read a lot about it on the Internet. Housing is rented in almost every house on the main street, and people offering apartments are constantly sitting near the bus station. By the way, in order to get from the hotel to Sozopol or Burgas, you must first get to Chernomorets. And so to Sozopol from the hotel taxi 20 leva one way. From Chernomorets buses run to Burgas and Sozopol almost every 20-30 minutes. Taxi from Chernomorets to Costa Bulgar cost us 5 leva. As an option, rent a car, but, to be honest, I don’t know about the money, it will probably turn out to be expensive too, gasoline prices are slightly higher than ours. In the description of the hotel on many sites it is written that there is a bus from the hotel to Sozopol, apparently either it has not been allowed in yet))) or we got in the wrong season (but there is a strong feeling that it was not here in the season... ). As for the tour operator: the sending party is BiblioGlobus. They did everything quickly. Office on Prazhskaya. The girl suggested everything, offered hotels to choose from and tickets (given that we were going to go for a week). The choice of hotels at that time was not very large. We chose Costa Bulgar. Moreover, on some sites it was positioned as a hotel very close to the city of Sozopol! Only 5 km. In fact, it turned out that there is simply no transport from the hotel to the city. And what seemed very close turned out to be too far. The host was Alfa Service. We were met (there were 7 of us vacationing in different hotels) and taken by minibus. A day later, a representative of the company, Atanas Petrov, arrived. A very hospitable person. The truth speaks Russian not always clearly and he did not understand all our words, but he tried to oblige in everything. And he took me to the city in his car for groceries, and arranged a tour for us himself (it turns out that Alfa Service does not organize excursions if there are less than 8 people, as much is needed for a minibus). He tried to answer all sorts of questions, and if he did not know the answer to some, he apologized for a very long time. . ))) I wanted to see a local pet store, he immediately took me ))) Summing up: I liked the rest, when we arrived, it seemed that 7 days was a lot, when we left, it turned out to be very little. Of the advantages of the hotel: Well-groomed territory, its own restaurant, which does not even work in the "season" (next to St. Nicholas, it is closed until summer). The beach is quite clean, the sea is shallow (you can relax even with small children). Quite inexpensive (33.800 rubles for two, and this is with a flight). Pleasant rooms (we got a "studio" not very large, but we went to visit the apartments (which, as it turned out, are not much more expensive, there are 2 rooms: a bedroom and a living room. )) The studios and apartments have a kitchen, if you ask at the reception dishes can be cooked. Of the minuses: the lack of transport links nearby. In order to get to Sozopol, you have to walk (usually in the heat) about 2 km to the town of Chernomorets, or take a taxi, but it will cost a pretty penny)))... And a small area, in the evening, in fact, there is nothing to do. If you're hoping for animation, then it's not here (at least at the moment, maybe not the season, but the beauty salon and stuff didn't work either). But this place is ideal for a break from civilization))). . . Also, the construction outside the window was not very impressive, but it remains to be hoped that it will end soon. Judging by the layout at the reception, they have big plans, they are going to finish building the buildings, so in three years it should be good))) (although who knows these construction sites).
