My first trip abroad. I decided to go to Bulgaria, the travel agent advised Sozopol, Villa Elinor. Traveled from 14 to 28 September 2012. Rest was a success!! ! The location of the hotel is very convenient: 5 minutes from the central beach (I sunbathed only on this beach, since I really didn’t like Harmanite beach), 5 minutes from the Black Sea square, 5 minutes from the old Sozopol. True, the hotel stands on a mountain, so first you need to climb a little uphill, then up the stairs of 80 steps, then again up a little hill, it didn’t bother me much. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is sincerely friendly, not intrusive, the room is cleaned at your request, no one breaks into the room with a vacuum cleaner in the morning, I asked the maid for cleaning the day before, left 2 leva on the bed and when I came from the beach or from the excursion I found a very clean room. The linen was changed often, the linen was snow-white, the beds were comfortable. By the way, for those who don't know, the foot towel will be changed if you throw it on the floor. Food: here's the downside. Monotonous. I only went for breakfast. . This is very convenient, you don’t have to run anywhere in the morning in search of food, and then you have a sea of u200bu200bpleasures: cafes and restaurants on every corner. I went every day to different ones: the portions are large, very tasty, and inexpensive (200-400 rubles). The waiters speak Russian quite well (in general, there is practically no language barrier in Bulgaria), by the way, in no restaurant in Sozopol, the waiters beg for tips, as people write on the forums, I always left 1-2 leva myself. Near the hotel there is a bistro "Star Paradise" - the most delicious bistro in Sozopol, although it closed on September 22, as there are already few tourists at that time. In general, September is a velvet season, there are few tourists, the beaches are free, but indeed some cafes are closed, the weather is as lucky. When I went for 4 days there was a storm, but these days I went on excursions, it is very convenient when there is no heat. About excursions. If your tour operator is "Starfish" (meeting party), then immediately forget about it, you only need them to perform a transfer from the airport and back. They work awesome!! ! Sea: the water is clean, transparent, although after the storm it brought some algae. Beach: sandy (central), Harmanite shell rock. The city is clean and calm. You can safely walk at night, you feel completely safe. I really enjoyed my vacation. If I went to Bulgaria again, it would be only to Sozopol and only to such a family mini-hotel as Villa Elinor.
