Good afternoon!
I'll start from afar : ) My husband and I chose a country for a summer vacation for a long time: we wanted to go to the sea for 2 weeks, in the high season and not expensive : ) Therefore, we chose Bulgaria, and did not regret it.
Now in order.
1) City: Very nice. I was especially pleased with the old city - if you leave the crowded streets, then it's just a delight. Beautiful houses, silence, beautiful churches, shops, restaurants on the waterfront. Well done, in a word. There are places to spend evenings. New city - hotels, new cottages, shops. Carefully, neatly.

2) Beach: there are 2 beaches in the city - Central and in the New part of the city. From the hotel to the "New" beach - half a minute walk. Around the beach there are many cafes with reasonable prices. Sunbeds, umbrellas are paid, but there is a part of the beach where you can sunbathe with your umbrellas. But we liked the Central Beach, because it is located in a beautiful bay overlooking the Stray city. It is really very shallow, but the water is clean, and the kids (of which there are simply darkness in the city) still swim near the shore. There are no fish, but this is not surprising : ) The sand is clean. Every day they clean it with a special machine.
3) Meals: we booked a tour without meals. You can eat in numerous cafes, restaurants, catering. We often bought fruits (oh, what delicious honey peaches : )) and pastries from local bakeries. Our favorite is kurabiyka (it's such a small cupcake). Food prices are almost the same. In the Old Town, the interest is 30% higher (but the cuisine is better there, and higher-level establishments are already restaurants). It was very tasty to have dinner while admiring the panorama of the city. . . It is also quite possible to cook at home. All necessary food is served in shops and shops.
4) Entertainment: the main message - do not look for bright clubs in Sozopol. For them you need to go to Nessebar - Sunny Beach. In Sozopol, from beach activities - catamarans, zorbing, on the New Beach - scooters, parachutes, etc. In the evenings - walks around the Old City, in the New City there are also a couple of clubs, as well as a small amusement park.
5) Surroundings: tour operators offer many excursions. We went to Nessebar on our own (the trip cost us 18 lev (the road from Sozopol to Burgas, and from Burgas to Nessebar by bus - buses run exactly on schedule - you can check at the bus station). The tour operator asked 55 lev per person. Decide for yourself. But I strongly do not recommend going on Sunday - there are a lot of tourists. We walked around without any problems, had lunch, bought souvenirs. A beautiful old city - sister of Sozopol : ) We also rode a boat on the Rapotamo River (also by bus about 20 minutes to the river). also 3 times cheaper than the operator. Beautiful river, rich flora and fauna. If you are going to go on your own - it is better after lunch, so as not to burn yourself in the sun.

6) Hotel: oh. . . frankly, Paradise is not a 3* hotel, but a licensed 2* apartment. But there are no pretensions. Clean, every day light cleaning, change of towels - on demand, linen - once a week. The room, of course, is small, but cozy, + there is everything you need. The furniture is new. Balcony (take higher rooms, you can see the sea from the balcony : ). It is important to understand that this hotel is far from expensive, the price is more than acceptable. Therefore, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. In the courtyard there is a gazebo where you can cook food, there are dishes. Those. everything you need for a comfortable stay, but no frills. So don't expect pools, leather furniture and 50 sq. meters : ) Read the conditions carefully and ask the operator for everything. But frankly, in this price range, almost all hotels offer almost the same conditions.
What else to add... We were very satisfied. Great vacation, 2 weeks of sun, sea. . . What could be better?
