We rested with my husband and a 9-year-old child in Bulgaria, the resort of St. Vlas, the Consul hotel, the end of August - the beginning of September 2011. They were afraid of bad weather, but in vain - it was 30-32 in the afternoon, 28 in the evening. First, the minuses. We traveled by bus from Lviv, 20 hours, very hard. We were dropped off at 3.00 am at the bus stop, there are no buses or taxis. We walked 2 km, with suitcases, looking for a hotel. And when they found it, it turned out to be closed, no one came out to answer the doorbell. It's good that the back door was unlocked, we went in and dozed on a small sofa until 7 o'clock in the morning. Then a man came, he is a watchman, he is also a cleaner, he called the chef, we were immediately settled.
Now the pros. The room is large, with a bathroom, good furniture, mini-bar, air conditioning, TV. Breakfast was a little monotonous, but it did not bother. We dined in restaurants, ate yoghurt for dinner, very tasty yoghurts in Bulgaria - "kisele mlyako". I was glad that there was a stop nearby - it was easy to get to the water park, to Burgas, to Nessebar. The beach is 300-350 meters along a good road, along the hotels and the pier, it's nice to take a walk. The hotel has a swimming pool, a lot of coniferous trees - the air is awesome. The prices are normal, there is no rudeness. Many Germans, Poles, Russians. The rest is calm, family - the most with a child. Who wants parties, nightlife - it is better to Sunny Beach. I liked it very much. I recommend both the hotel and the resort.
