Good afternoon! I will be glad if my review helps.
My family and I went to Bulgaria for the first time, I heard a lot of good things from my friends. Before that, we rested in Crete, Mallorca, Turkey... I am writing this so that it is clear that, of course, I compared.
And so, my parents, two children 4 and 6 years old and I went to rest from the company "Delta", as they write the hotel "Etara" 4. We flew to Burgas wonderfully, we go out and look at the sign of the meeting party... and I don’t see it. I went around everything Stoics, called by phone, an hour later it turned out that no one was going to meet us and was not going to, their car broke down. They did not warn us. They told us to get there ourselves. Well, here, quietly began to lose nerves. We took a taxi (their rates are interesting) until I asked for a check, so that later I would be compensated for the costs, because I still paid for the transfer in Moscow.

About the hotel... In the "Delta" they write 50 meters from the sea... In reality, the situation is this. From the building "Etara, 1 Etara near the sea and there are never any free rooms, or more precisely, apartments, 2 and 3 Etara on the same line near the road, but from the second Etara the road is beautiful, but with a steep climb. When we were settled in 2 Etara, but I didn’t understand what was happening. At the entrance we were given the keys and told to go up to the 4th floor without an elevator with suitcases. I opened the door and saw a good 3-room apartment. I went to look for a reception, this is a separate story...
In general, when I realized that we were deceived, and that these are just apartments and no one wants to listen and relocate too, and the Bulgarian side does not understand why Delta is selling these apartments as a hotel, I thought that we should accept that the company "Delta" are businessmen whose goal is to make money now, and what will happen later and do not care.
The morning is wiser than the evening . . I want to say that Bulgaria itself, as a country, really liked it. Good people, open. We took a trip to the Bulgarian village of Bata. Very bright and positive. The kids were interested in us too. We were treated very tasty and entertained.
The sea was different. There are a lot of algae. Something was picked up in the sea (a stick or it was poison algae) everyone had diarrhea. I always take a first aid kit, it comes in handy.
Beautiful town of Nessebar. We got from St. Vlas by boat. The pier is near Etara, you can also buy tickets here. A trip for the whole day, there are many ancient churches.
Buy groceries at the Mladost store, all locals buy there.
I got the impression that there are few full-fledged hotels in Bulgaria and that mostly people live in apartments.
In general, it is necessary to clarify where you will still live and not be upset.
