I read all the negative reviews of past years after I bought a ticket. But the fears were not confirmed. We got what we were looking for - a clean room with a sea view and a balcony, regular cleaning and change of linen, smiles on the faces of the maids and bartenders and other staff, especially at the sight of our two small children. At the reception, however, only those under the age of 30 smiled (and there were practically no such people). They also knew how to speak English. Almost everyone spoke Russian (poorly). Our check-in was literally a week after the opening of the season, maybe this is the reason for the hospitality and zeal of the staff - we are not yet tired of the influx of tourists. In early June, the hotel is half full - German pensioners, Bulgarian youth. Then local and Eastern European families with children began to arrive, the parking lot was full, the number of children was almost half. There were almost no Russians. With small children, an ideal place - the beach is within easy reach, the food is acceptable (daughter 1 year 2 months, son 2 years 9 months), no one went, everyone ate everything. From drinks - only local, but quite good wines, brandy, vermouth, beer. Non-alcoholic - juices (though only apple and orange), Pepsi lemonades, water. Free ice cream, consumed by tons of local and other Germans, turned out to be a semi-chemical, multi-colored sweet poison, which we immediately forbade children to come close to. Breakfast is the same. There are no cereals we are used to, only muesli, cereals, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits (apples, bananas, oranges), sweets. Tea tasteless - bought your own bags. Lunch and dinner for 5 points out of 5. Soups only do not reach the highest Russian-Ukrainian standards, but in general everything is fresh, tasty, the children ate broths and meat without frowning. There is a whole corner with low tables, like in a kindergarten, where it is very comfortable for the little ones to sit, there are children's side chairs for the little ones.
Important (for me personally) - an excellent sauna with the ability to pour water on the stones for 160 r per person (without time control). We were not fond of entertainment in any way, there is billiards, real tennis - everything that is on the hotel's website is true. For children (from three to four years old) - a children's disco every day.
If there is no sun, and this happened, though not more than half a day, then you can take a bus and go to the city of Nessebar. Or shove and spend our 1200 rubles on a trip there + back on a boat directly from the pier on the beach. The city - with a claim to the medieval Mediterranean, nice houses (stone top, wooden bottom - almost Hanseatic style). Disappointing is the amount of Chinese junk in the shops there, which obscure the natural beauty of the quiet streets of old Nessebar, but the locals survive due to this - they only count on tourists.

The nearest village - Sveti Vlas - we visited the church, very impressed with the lbstra there, with icons, walked around the harbor with yachts. There is nothing more to do there. In the most holy Vlas, Russian speech is already heard just everywhere. Sunny Beach - if the children are adults and they can be taken to the Paradise Beach kindergarten, and if the parents are not tired of the city sausage - you can go there. We just took a walk on one of the not very clear days there and went to the Mladost supermarket for children's supplies and good tea. We were not honored on the excursion, because of small children, again. We don't really regret it. Although the choice of excursions travel agencies offer a good one. There are two water parks in Sunny Beach - about 800 rubles per adult for the whole day. But there, again, with older children we have to go.
The air in St. Vlas itself and in Paradise Beach in particular is simply magnificent. Sea iodized salinity is mixed with coniferous-floral phytoncides, which, due to the steep mountain, accumulate there and literally fill the entire space, if you sleep with the door to the balcony ajar, it's just wonderful. Our nasopharynxes and bronchial tubes from Ligovsky Prospekt were simply rapidly clearing, filling northern organisms with energy.
In general, I don’t know how it was during the peak season, but at the very beginning we really liked everything.
