first time in sunny Bulgaria
We went to Bulgaria for the first time, but we, we can say experienced travelers, have something to compare with, there were many places in Europe and Asia. The place was chosen based on reviews, we went in six, two pensioners, two adults, and two children 12 and 2 years old. We took two rooms, a studio and a two-room apartment. Hotel panorama dream, apartments, no meals. ABOUT THE HOTEL: there are no complaints, well, if only due to the lack of Internet, the issue was decided by buying a SIM card on the street. Well, about the pools, the water in them is cold, well, this is in most hotels in Bulgaria. The territory is clean and beautiful, you don’t need to take sun loungers, it’s more than enough, they clean it normally, towels are changed every day, it’s convenient to cook in the rooms, the hotel is without meals, there are two cafes on the territory, a pizzeria is wonderful. The hotel is located very well in relation to the sea (150 meters) and a large grocery store (150 meters). Saint Vlas is not a big village, with shops, cafes, a port, a church, a theater and a bunch of different hotels, located on a hill, but given our composition, walking was not fatal, our grandfather is disabled. We dined in the cafe 4 times, not expensive, but not impressed, not a single dish caused admiration, fresh, homemade. We cooked it ourselves, food prices were about twice as expensive as in St. Petersburg, FOR everything except beer and rosé wine, which were of good quality, I liked it, local production. About purchases: leather bags and shoes of good quality, for example, bought bags for 50 euros, autumn boots for 35 euros, all natures. skin . The course is 2 leva-1 euro, in general, everything is divided in half, rubles are changed, there are many exchangers, the rate is the same everywhere. Well, probably about the main thing, about the sea, about the weather: the sea is clean, the sand, the entrance is smooth, but the water is cool, 23-25 degrees, I had to get used to it, the waves were 4 times in two weeks, not very big. For two weeks it rained 2 times, or rather two full days, it was cold 12-14 degrees, this is the second half of August, a jacket would not hurt, but alas, they didn’t take it. After the rains, the nights became cold and a blouse was needed. During the day the temperature is around 30-32 degrees, we went to the sea in the morning and in the afternoon. Sun loungers are paid 8 lev one chaise lounge, 8 lion umbrella, we didn’t take it, we laid our towels on the sand, we bought umbrellas upon arrival 16 lev one, you can bring it with you, put it in your luggage. we went to the old Nessebar, a stop next to the store, 2 left, go to the final one, I liked it, there are many different shops, you can buy a good bag. We were on excursions in the Bulgarian village, not very bad, the children went to the water park, well, average, they saw cooler. In general, the impressions are not bad, I liked Bulgaria, we will probably come again, St. Vlas is a very quiet place, there was not enough movement or something, despite the retirement age, well, this is for different tastes.
