I also decided this year to join many tourists and visit Bulgaria.
Frankly, I did not expect anything unusual from this small and, as it turned out, very cozy country.
The tour was purchased from the tour operator Orbit, moving back and forth Il Tour (Balkantransservice).
About Il Tour - HORROR! came home 2 days before the accident in Romania. There were two people per seat, the bus was filled to the brim with suitcases. Drivers don't sleep for weeks.
Remember and tell all your friends - with Il Tour NINI!!!!
Okay, now for the good stuff.
I read about the Ambassador on the Internet - I will say right away - for such money EVERYTHING is SIMPLY GREAT! I got room 345 with a sea view. Interior + room cleaning + change of towels = I think that more service is not needed. True, I took several chocolate bars with me and periodically "fed" the maid with them.

About food on the golden sands and about breakfasts in the Ambassador - again I read on the internet about the fact that "all inclusive" does not need to be taken. cheap in restaurants - numbers are a stubborn thing - it didn’t cost me cheaper. I think all the conversations on the Internet are geared towards the fact that the tourist leaves a certain amount in the restaurants of golden sands. Feel free to take all-inclusive (definitely save on drinks), or take only breakfast and go periodically for dinner, for example, to the Shipka hotel (10 lev per person - buffet). In restaurants, it was impossible to leave less than 25-30 lev for two, as some wrote. As a result, the buffet in the Ambassador is somewhat monotonous, but I ate my fill in the morning.
The sands struck me with the complete absence of dust (the asphalt shone), clean sea water and an "international team" of tourists.
Alas, after visiting Bulgaria, Crimea ceased to be a resort for me. It is a pity that the Ukrainian redneck brought the peninsula to this.
If you are in Golden Sands, be sure to visit the Aladzha rock monastery and the Botanical Garden of the Romanian Queen Mary near Balchik. I did not buy excursions, but went by taxi myself. A little hint - you can get to the Botanical Garden if you get off at the stop - Management in Pesky, there you can agree with a taxi driver (6 lev one way per person, we were traveling with the Poles).
I was pleasantly surprised by the prices for clothes and shoes in Varna. Frankly, they pleasantly shocked me. I advise you to definitely visit the Grand Mall in Varna. Bus 409 (3 leva) runs to Varna from Peskov.
In general, it seemed to me that living in Bulgaria is cheaper than living in Ukraine.
