Hello!

rested with my family: me, wife and son 2.5 years old. we were very meticulous about the choice of the hotel: the requirements were as follows - very good food, a children's table, the presence of fruits, the All Incl food system. A travel agency (this is not an advertisement, but for your information http://toursandtravel. com. ua/Kontakty.html) found a hotel in Bulgaria, although it turned out to be not easy to do. There are not many family-type hotels in this country with All Incl. But they found - Atlas 4 * in Golden Sands. What pleased me from the very selection of hotels - they were not offered to Ukraine in principle. and this we appreciated later. The specialist Elena, who served us, had to call in Bulgaria and negotiate with the Bulgarian partners and the hotel itself directly.

The flight from Borispol to Varna, lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes, did not bother us at all. The kid was interested in everything new.

Representatives of Alma-tour met us in Varna at the airport - they showed us where the bus was, they showed everything and told us about Bulgaria, towns and excursions along the way.
Immediately warned - it is better to change money in exchangers. It is what it is - they have a guarantee of safety. There are a lot of Shustrikov-changers, but these are unpleasant types.

We liked the Golden Sands resort itself. Lots of restaurants for every taste and budget. They speak Russian everywhere, so there was no language barrier - neither in the hotel nor on the street.

Now the Atlas Hotel itself is 4 *.
The contingent of tourists: Germans, Scandinavians, Romanians. For the entire period of our holiday there were two couples from St. Petersburg and we from Kyiv. Russian-speaking tourists in this hotel - as we understand it - are few. We were pleased that there was always someone at the reception who spoke Russian. The treatment of all the staff is the same no matter what nationality you are, because in this hotel you are His Majesty the Client. I witnessed how a young boy in a restaurant was built and scolded. The staff is built and trained. For which the hotel administration - respect.

The cuisine of the hotel restaurant is EXCELLENT.
For the whole rest - it did not become boring and did not happen again. my wife and I were subdued by such a variety and freshness of absolutely everything. I was especially pleased with the mega queue of Germans for lamb ribs. it was fun for me to look at the orderly row of Germans who were patiently waiting for their freshly baked piece. Fruit is plentiful and fresh EVERY DAY. the child ate melons, watermelons, grapes, plums, peaches, apricots, apples. Meat dishes were always and always perfectly cooked and fresh, for which all the staff of the restaurant of this hotel - a special THANK YOU and respect. I can say one thing about baking - you will lick your fingers. Always varied and tasteful and most importantly without repetition.

Cleaning - every day and to shine. The cleaners try hard and don't need extra tips. They did not create beauty from towels, but we had enough of the cleanliness that they brought to us in the rooms.

Rooms. Separate topic. There are rooms with a sea view, there is a park.
first we were settled in room 435 (all even numbers - with a view of the sea, odd - on the park). Everything in the room was good - the shower, toilet, and hair dryer worked, the condition of the room was very good, the laminate was not cracked or worn. The problem was that the youth disco could be heard from the sea. If you close the window, it is stuffy, because the centralized air conditioning system could not cope with the temperature and, as a result, we did not get enough sleep. They asked us to change a room on the same floor, but with a view of the park. They changed it without question, but after 3 days, because there were no rooms free during this period in principle. They settled us in room 428 and ....oh horror - we realized that we had made a big mistake. In this room, everything was specifically poyuzano - and the laminate (both cracks and scuffs spoke of the age of the room), and the burned-out hair dryer, which stupidly did not work, and the bursting hose in the bathroom, flushing the toilet bowl every other time.
In addition, the tables on the balcony and the dryer were worse - we took them from room 425; ) we can do it. Even greater horror was from what we saw in the evening - ants. Although they were not in room 435. Everything turned out to be very simple - they lived in the crevices of the laminate and ate crumbs of buns brought by the guests. My wife was no exception and brought to the room under the pretext of "well, if the child wants. " The child just didn’t want to after a plentiful meal in the restaurant, but the living creatures were very happy with this food. But even more disappointing was the fact that the noise was in this room. The fact is that the view of the park was, as well as the view of the mountains, and it was from the mountains that all the sound from all the discos was reflected and fell into the windows of this room. We also had to sleep with the window closed. And in addition to the noise from discos, there was noise from passing cars and from buses that brought / took vacationers and employees from 6 am to 10 pm.
Windows 428 overlooked the road along the park. So - take this into account when choosing rooms.

The sea - in fact, it blocked all the negative. The sea was warm +22+23. True, the first two days of arrival were stormy, but this was not nearly annoyed. The child ran after the waves, splashed in the waves and ran from the waves like crazy - well, what else does a baby need for complete happiness? !

The beach is a municipal one. Entrance is free, but everything else is paid: sun loungers, sun loungers, towels, massage, etc. . I was pleased with the many locker rooms and the presence of a free freshwater shower, because stomp from Atlas to the sea and back for about 15 minutes waddling (this is the stairs through neighboring hotels), and bypassing the road - min 30 will be, because Atlas is the 2nd hotel lines. The sand on the beach is fine, pebbly and very dirty. not only our tourists litter in it, but also the Germans and all the other unscrupulous tourists ...So look what your baby is digging into.
There are free accommodation zones on the beaches in Golden Sands - this is a meter from the sea line, along which someone usually walks, and in the back rows after all paid places - sun loungers, cafes and bars, usually all free zones are marked with ropes and signs, which is further pay zone. there are also inscriptions in Russian - do not miss; ) We took our personal line and found a place at free points. You can find it, although you have to walk around and look for somewhere cleaner. We must pay tribute to the local municipality, they regularly take out the garbage cans and the trash cans on the beach are stuck so that you can’t miss, but all the same - the bastards crap; ) it all depends on the people and their level of disgusting ; )

That's actually all. Choose your time and fly. Bulgarians are very hospitable and sympathetic people.

Even if they do not know Russian or Ukrainian, they will patiently listen and try to understand and answer in Russian, this especially applies to people over 40 years old, they probably still learned Russian at school. The local youth is more oriented towards Europe and knows German and English, but due to the similarity of languages, they understand what you want from them, the main thing is to speak slowly and clearly, then there will be contact.

Good luck and pleasant emotions! ! !
