After 7 years, I decided to visit the previously liked Golden Sands resort. The resort itself, to be honest, disappointed - everywhere, where possible, outlets are poked. But I liked the hotel. Of course, there were disadvantages, but without them, nowhere.
1. Location. The hotel is located in the northern part of the resort near the yacht pier on the mountain. Around the hotels a little different from the center and the southern part. Probably, this is due to the fact that it was built not so long ago and on the territory of the national park. Greens - the sea. There was only one way to get to the sea and to the first line - a ladder of 180 steps. Going down is a pleasure, but the way back, especially after the beach or long walks, is quite tiring. Therefore, the hotel is not suitable for those who have problems with the cardiovascular system. But who needs free fitness - muscle training - that's it. Walk to the sea for 5-6 minutes, no more. On the beach there are both paid sunbeds and a free zone. Bought an umbrella for 10 leva and enjoy.
The territory of the hotel is very well-groomed, a lot of greenery and flowers.

2. The hotel is quite large, you can get lost at first. The reception is located on the 6th floor, the restaurant on the 5th, the balneological center on the 4th floor. There are 3 elevators, but while you wait for them, you will get there faster on foot.
At the reception, the staff practically does not speak Russian and understands it poorly. We communicated in English. German and Bulgarian are suitable. The staff is very friendly helpful everywhere, it's a bar or a maid.
At the reception you can order a safe - 10 levs per day, it's cheaper to take it right away or for a week or 2, then it turns out 7 levs per day. Also, each room has an electronic safe - the manager gives you a sealed envelope with your personal code. This is very convenient, because you don’t have to carry the key with you, because you can lose it and then pay a fine. Also at the reception, an appointment is made in the balneological center. Internet is also paid there - 4 levs for 30 minutes, 2 hours - 12 levs. But their computers are antediluvian and slow down.
3. System "all inclusive" - works from 10 am to 11 pm. At other times, all drinks, even water, will be charged separately. The system in this hotel implies three meals a day, during breaks snacks, ice cream.
Breakfast from 7-30 to 10-00 in the main restaurant, from 11 to 12 in the pool bar ice cream, fruit, cookies. Lunch from 12:00 to 14:00. From 15:00 to 18:00 at the pool bar pastries, pizza, ice cream, fruits. And at this time, huge queues, consisting mainly of the most hungry Germans, pushing the rest away with their hands and feet. Dinner from 18:00 to 21:00 in the main restaurant.
What is included in the drinks. Honestly, I expected more. Tea (black, green, herbal), coffee (even cappuccino can be drunk with great difficulty), Pepsi, seven up, Mirinda is poured by the bartender, just like beer, you take wine from a barrel in the main restaurant. The bar in the lobby has a hot and cold water machine and diluted yuppies, but we didn't take them. There is a mini market on site in the lobby, where we bought juices and drank them, at least tasty and healthy. A one-liter pack of juice costs from 3 leva (about 60 rubles for our money).

4. Currency exchange. At the reception, the exchange rate is unfavorable. For 100 euros you will be given 183 leva, and for 100 dollars 142 leva. It is better to change the currency at the bank "Rayfazen" in the center of the resort - there the rate is much higher, but not much more than in Varna. In the bank for 100 euros they gave 194 leva, and for 100 dollars 153 leva. Passport is not required. The bank is open from 10:00 to 17:00 except weekends.
5. The room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, a folding chair is provided for the third person. Quite a large balcony - fit 2 chairs, a table, a drying rack, and there is still space left to store the mattress. The room has a double bed, an armchair, a table, 2 bedside tables, a TV (orth, news 24 hours and NTV), a built-in minibar (paid, but, in my opinion, it’s not worth the money, it’s cheaper to buy it yourself in numerous stores), a mirror, on wall painting, spacious wardrobes. All furniture is new and of good quality. The same applies to the toilet - imported plumbing, instead of a shower we had a bath, nothing leaked or broke. The only negative is the low power hair dryer. So I recommend bringing your own. The air conditioner is central, a power and temperature regulator is mounted on the wall - you set it yourself as you need.
Each guest was allocated 3 towels - for hands, face and bath. If you want to change the towel - throw it on the floor. This is a kind of sign for the maid. Bed linen was changed every other day, snow-white, starched, with the hotel logo.
Shower gel and washcloths will not be provided, but a dispenser with liquid soap is attached to the bathroom wall and one shower cap is issued per room.
6. Food varied, tasty, satisfying. Personally, I recovered by 6 kg in 2 weeks.
Breakfast - 3 types of egg dishes, cheeses, sausages, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, pastries, butter, jams, milk, honey, muesli, hot pancakes, tea, coffee.
Lunch - 3-4 types of soup, two of them must be hot, fish, meat at least 2 types, vegetables - stewed and in the form of salads, side dishes (rice, french fries).
Dinner is much richer than lunch. Every day a themed dinner, for example, today, Italian dishes, and tomorrow international dishes. Everything is in abundance, dishes too. Desserts include delicious mini cakes. A wide variety of fruits three times a day - melons, watermelons, pineapples, peaches, plums, cherries, grapes, oranges, bananas, grapefruits.

The beer is so-so, you can drink it, but it's better to run to the store for "Shumensky" - much better. Semi-dry wine, red and white. In my opinion, not the best quality, but you can drink.
Ice cream of all colors of the rainbow, dairy. It also tastes better.
The main restaurant is very spacious, there are seats on the terrace, I didn’t watch queues for seats, but it’s better to come to the beginning of the meal - everything is fresh and there are few people.
7. The balneological center is located on the 4th floor and includes a massage room, an indoor pool, a gym, a cosmetologist and a hairdresser's office.
The indoor pool is open in any weather, divided into 3 sections - "paddling pool", 1.20 m deep and 1.9 m deep. A lifeguard watches the swimmers, he also turns on the hydromassage during the day.
Massage is done by an experienced aunt, who does her job with high quality. Prices are moderate and vary by season. Mirnimum - 20 leva for 20 minutes with the use of classic options, aromatherapy, reflexology and acupressure. For each client, an individual terry towel with a disposable diaper under the head and a sheet is laid, the music turns on and the session begins. To be honest, I liked it - the masseuse herself, her skillful hands, and the cozy atmosphere.
Sauna and steam room can be ordered from the masseuse. This pleasure costs 10 leva (200 rubles) for 30 minutes.
A hairdresser, beautician and manicurist come from Varna by appointment at the reception. Prices are quite moderate compared to St. Petersburg. For example, facial cleansing costs 50 leva (1000 ours), the beautician will conjure over you for more than 2 hours, but the redness will subside after a couple of hours. A pedicure with painting costs 45 leva - lasts more than an hour.
A model haircut will cost you at least 25 leva (500 rubles). In principle, every vacationer can pick up something to their liking, taking into account the contents of the wallet.

8. Animation - no for Russians. Only in German. I don’t know why the Bulgarians love them so much, but I was personally convinced that they behave much more cheekily than ours, and are less clean, they easily throw a cigarette butt into the sand on the beach.
We didn't have much luck with the weather. on arrival it was cold and rainy - +17 maximum, there were most rainy days, but the sun also pleased. The sea is chilly - maximum +22, but crystal clear, without algae and jellyfish. In principle, I consider our vacation a success. Indeed, for reasonable money, especially since the hotel gives a good discount for children under 14, we spent time with health benefits.
But there were also disadvantages. Twice while eating, she "smelled" sour watermelons and melons. I quickly called the manager and sorted out the issue.
And on the day of departure, the driver of our bus, throwing our suitcase with dashing movements, tore off the handle in it. He apologized for a long time, but the guide did not let us down - frankly nasty. So do not particularly trust the drivers from Alfa-Service, it is better to put your things in the luggage compartment of the bus yourself.
