Hello!
We as a family of 4 people (3 adults and 1 child) rested in Pliska in the second half of August.
We arrived at the hotel around 18.30, the key was given to us pretty quickly and we went to look for our room.
Our apartment was on the 3rd floor, but since the hotel is located "in the mountain", the number of storeys does not correspond to the view from the window. In fact, we ended up with the first floor, overlooking the terrible, filthy mountain vegetation. There (on the balcony) it was really damp, dark and scary, and apart from these trees nothing could be seen. Maybe for someone this is not important, but we like to sit on the balcony in the evening without exotic insects, so the children were upset. In short... in the morning my husband went to the manager and we were offered 2 apartments to choose from without any problems. We chose on the 8th floor and the whole stay was very satisfied with it.

HOTEL without territory vaasche. Only a bassist and a tiny playground next to it, broken to pieces, although the idea (design and location) is good. There is a shop, there was the cheapest sparkling water and soap. WiFi in the lobby. Audibility in the rooms from the corridor is just awesome, the doors are made of thin plywood. Luckily, we had quiet neighbors on the floor and our room was at the end of the corridor…
NUTRITION. We had an all-inclusive. Breakfasts, as in most Bulgarian hotels: eggs of all kinds, cereals, cheese, sausages, nasty sausage, delicious honey, buns... Dinner-like dinners were sometimes good, sometimes there was nothing to choose from. But there were always a variety of vegetables and meat, or chicken. From fruits: watermelon for every meal, melon, peaches, apples, plums... My eldest daughter and I just ate watermelon, melon (Bulgarian) has a slightly specific taste, but also nothing, peaches are luxurious, we never took other fruits. There were all sorts of mini-cookies... The coffee was so-so (I've been to another hotel and it's just disgusting), tea with water from the cooler was not brewed, and UPI, of course, where without them. I don’t know for sure what was included in alcoholic drinks - they took beer and gin tonic - they didn’t get poisoned. Ice cream was given for an afternoon snack, you scoop any variety directly from the boxes...
Two most unpleasant dudes work in the lobby bar, in the canteen itself, girls-boys are, in principle, fast and friendly. Plastic cups are washed open.
During the first week of our stay in the canteen and the pool, it was moderately crowded: there were always sunbeds free, and there were no tables and queues for food. And then the Romanians came in large numbers (and I realized that it turned out to be a racist). Boorish, unpleasant gypsies who come in huge clans, apparently this hotel is focused on them (at the entrance there are signs with a menu in 2 languages: English and Romanian). It became impossible to get to the food (I am silent about ice cream !!! ), it was crowded in the pool, in general, they were annoying. Sorry Romanians.
POOLS - 3. two open and a warm indoor one Between the "seas" we also frolic there... The indoor one is especially good. There is a sauna - for a fee and like a gym on the upper lobby, but we did not see it.

ROOM, I repeat that we had an apartment, clean, spacious, with a fenced-in bed (namely, a bed, and not with shifted mattresses), a double sofa, a folding chair, and so on. In general, compared to the standard, go double, there is plenty of space, respectively, and the balcony is large. TV is old. There is no hair dryer. The maid turned the swans for money and threw out the garbage.
The BEACH and the approach to it is a bit of a disappointment. It seems to be close to the beach, and not to approach, because of the Riviera. True, then by experience we figured out that the Riviera is happiness. The first morning, the children and I naively rushed into the main entrance of the Riviera (the night before we easily passed through it) and they kindly showed me where to go. Fortunately, thanks to Julia, T's review, we quickly orientated along the road and came to the free zone of the Riviera, and left through the main entrance. In the evening we went to the same Riviera (through Preslav), only from the other side (where there is a large, warm source of hydrogen sulfide), and went out again through the main entrance, in general we got used to it... and did not even strain. And on the beach of the Sands themselves, in an area where there are no sun loungers, there is even nowhere to stand, not only to lie down and it is SO VERY DIRTY, thanks to our fellow tourists.
Fleas and midges raged on the beach for several days. We (except the youngest), however, like all the people on the beach, were terribly bitten and itched without interruption, no antihistamines helped either locally or internally. Just to the point of hysteria, I no longer wanted to go to the sea, then, fortunately, they suddenly disappeared.
For some reason, our family did not like Golden Sands themselves. This is purely subjective, because. there were no particular reasons for dissatisfaction. The resort is like a resort. For teenagers - youth - fun, for small ones: a couple of rocking chairs and inflatable slides.
We went to the Aquapolis water park, it is located almost behind the hotel, closer than to the sea. For beginners, it will do... For us, the slides were not enough, the kids were great!

We took a taxi to Varna, although buses run from a stop near the hotel (No. 409). Because of the heat, we could not enjoy the Varna sketches, the youngest began to whine, we went to the grand mall. For those who do not have the opportunity to travel abroad, shopping there will undoubtedly seem wonderful.
In general, the holiday was SUCCESSFUL. The hotel is normal, if without any complaints, then you can go
