For the last 5 years we have been resting at various resorts in Bulgaria. We perfectly imagine what can be expected from the road, hotels and the host.
This year (2012) turned out to be an unexpected vacation from April 29th. We rested on Golden Sands for 12 days in May at the Warsaw Hotel. The price of the tour was very good. We knew that the opening of the season was only from May 15 and planned to spend a holiday with self-guided excursions and "entertainment".
At the beginning of the journey and until the very end, the road turned out to be “obscenely” difficult because of fellow travelers who got drunk all the time and behaved frankly ugly. In Nikolaev, the managers of the travel agency "Valen-tour" of the tour operator "WELT", who were traveling with us, dropped off the entire group from the bus near the hotel "Nikolaev", and they - 4 people, left with the bus for more than 2.5 hours. Where the bus was and what happened to it is unknown. By the way, the same story repeated itself on the way back from Bulgaria.

With such a start to the holiday - waiting for a meeting with the hotel did not bode well, but we were wrong.
Hotel "Warsaw" and the rest in it turned out to be wonderful in all respects:
- I immediately liked the hotel, clean, comfortable, greeted with a smile, immediately settled and warned that the pool would be operational from May 2. The pool is large, comfortable, clean, the water was cleaned daily, the attendants were constantly present;
- we took breakfasts, which completely suited our entire family of 5 adults. The menu included: pasta with sauce, boiled potatoes, sausages and sausage, muesli with milk, salads, butter and cheeses of 2-3 types, national sour milk, tea of  .5-7 varieties and coffee, sweet drinks of 2 types, jam, oranges or apples, cookies or cake, and after a couple of days soups appeared. Isn't that enough for breakfast? We are used to eating ourselves, so as not to become attached to the place and time, as we spend active holidays and can walk 9-10 km;
- the service at the hotel was excellent, cleaning was done every day, despite the fact that we did not need it so often. Garbage was picked up regularly. Even coming from the sea, it was surprising that every day the bed was beautifully lined and swans laid out of towels;
- the hotel staff is friendly and attentive, they speak Russian at the reception, they helped to solve all the questions that arose without delay;
- The location of the hotel is wonderful, almost in the forest. Waking up to the singing of birds and drinking morning coffee on a spacious balcony is the dream of any city dweller.

During the holiday, the weather never failed. Every day after breakfast we went to the sea. At the beginning of the arrival, the water in the sea, of course, was cold, only men came in to take a dip, but everyone swam in the pool every day. And from May 4-5, even the female half of the company splashed and plunged into the sea. When we went along the coast towards Varna, we found 2 thermal springs, one of which is hydrogen-sulphurous, and the water in them is up to 50 degrees - that's where they bought plenty.
We went to our beloved Nessebar, to Balchik, to Varna. We walked along the forest path to the Aladzha monastery, and there were 4 km of beautiful forest paths. On the last day of rest, we caught fish and had a picnic in the forest (special areas with tables and benches are organized there).
Wherever we arrived in Bulgaria, we met friendly, smiling residents everywhere, cleanliness and comfort everywhere.
With this arrangement of free time, all five of us returned rested, tanned, happy and cheerful. And there is NO bad rest, you just need to be able to organize it correctly!
