Hello!
After reading the reviews about the Zora Hotel, I also decided to write a few words.

When choosing a hotel for a holiday on Golden Sands, my friend and I were guided by the following criteria:
1. The hotel must be on the territory of Golden Sands. I have not in vain indicated this as a separate paragraph. The fact is that many hotels write that they are located in the “area” or “in the area” of the Golden Sands resort. If you look at the map, it turns out that the hotels are not located there at all, but 10 km from Golden Sands, in Chaika. That is, in an abandoned village near the resort.
2. There should be a lot of reviews about the hotel. If there are reviews, then people are resting there. If you rest, then not everything is so bad in the hotel. Of course there are different opinions. But I do not believe either very good or naturally bad. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.
3. The hotel must be clean. It can be modest, but clean.
4. Polite staff.

5. Good nutrition (within reason)
6.
Close to the beach (if possible)
7. Swimming pool (desirable)
8. Parking (free)
9. Price. Unfortunately, the price now should not be very high.
And so what we found:

All cheap hotels are located either in Kranevo (there are no hotels at all, and apartments with owners are terrible) or in Chaika, or on the road from Golden Sands to Varna, they look like good hotels but very far to the sea.

There are very few inexpensive hotels on Golden Sands. All 2 star hotels can be counted on the toes of one foot : )
These are Warsaw, Raspberry, Diana, Horizon and Zora. "Malina" and "Diana" do not have a swimming pool and parking.
"Malina" is not very far to the sea, but the hotel itself is a passage courtyard. From "Diana" and "Warsaw" it is a very long walk to the beach, and the hotels themselves look dirty. "Horizon" and "Zora" are approximately the same to the sea (not far), but you need to go up the stairs. Parking in the "Horizon" is small and you have to pay for it and the hotel itself is rather shabby.
And they say that a lot of Romanians or Moldovans rest there. There is very little information on all hotels. There are almost no reviews.

The Zora remained. By the number of reviews, we realized that this is the most popular hotel (from inexpensive ones) in Golden Sands. The reviews certainly surprised me. But there were very few frankly negative ones. Probably these reviews were written by some bores who simply made a mistake with the hotel according to their requests.
Trying to get more information, we wrote to the hotel's mail and asked what and how. We were told that if you don't mind a few euros, it's better to pay extra and take an improved room. We did just that.

They settled us in fairly quickly. We liked the room. Small but clean. New plumbing. Very clean towels and bedding. And even a sea view : ).
They cleaned every day and didn't forget to take out the trash. Once the maid came when we were in the room and asked if it was possible to clean the room. We said no now.

Well, she didn’t come in that day anymore : )
Towels were changed on the 3rd or 4th day (I don’t remember exactly), bed linen was also changed.

The territory of the hotel is located in the forest. Because the rooms are not hot at all.
Near the hotel there is a swimming pool with very (really very) clean water and a beefy, tanned lifeguard : ). Of course, you won’t approach the lifeguard : ) it’s the turn of mothers with children to teach them how to swim: ) children: )
In the morning at 7 o'clock, my girlfriend and I were jogging on the beach. The beauty. But there will always be someone nearby : ) okay, young handsome, normal : ) and pensioners, where do you go? (I left my grandmother? : )

The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Like a 2 star hotel, even very good ones. The choice is large. What was very pleased that they gave porridge (every day is different). We made a Bulgarian (Shopska) salad from cucumbers, tomatoes and feta cheese. Jam was added to the “sour milk”, yogurt was obtained. In general, the DIY constructor is cool. Oh yes. Very tasty coffee from the machine.
Nervous only jerks-tourists who came with a thermos to collect coffee. Wouldn't be embarrassed.

We left the car near the hotel for free. The parking lot is closed, no problem.
We went to Varna several times. In MOL and Grand MOL (these are shopping centers). Bought very cool sandals and stilettos. We don't have those here. We went to the New Yorker store, then to Refan, then to Nike, then there, then here, and then - the money ran out : )

We got acquainted “in English” with guys - mulattos. They turned out to be local gypsies: ) in short, they ran away and neighed on the go: ) mulattos: ) a new joke!

In the evening at Golden Sands we went to hang out at the Pr club, where there was a performance by the local gay star Aziz. Who is not in the know, look on youtube : ) Something is not lucky for us with a stronger sex: ) We took a taxi, left for Zora (to sleep).

We slept through the run in the morning. Breakfast too : ) Let's go to the pool. We watched again how moms cling to the lifeguard: ) poor boy: )
They made us an excellent Mojito (cocktail) at the bar. The bar is a whole different story. 2 euro cocktails. All tried. Piñ a Colada, Tequila Sunrise, Blue Sky Daiquiri. Some vulgar Bulgarian shot ...no (well, you understand: )
Then we went to eat at Mikhail's (Hemus restaurant opposite the Zora hotel). Inexpensive and tasty. They also ate at the “rabbits” (a bar in the middle of the stairs that leads to the beach). Good too.

In the evening, we learned from the hotel staff about the Arogans club. Let's go there. Really cool party. 4 halls, each with its own music, each on its own wave, who is tired - in the chill-out (room with sofas). We saw some of our friends there. Then we went to Malibu (near the beach, not far from Pr). We wanted to swim at night, but changed our minds : ), the water is cold : ), and there are many spectators : )
In the morning we arrived at the hotel. And we went for a run. True : ) after jogging to the beach. Two boys (nothing like that) from Germany were treated to cocktails in a "wet" bar (in "Zora" cocktails are much better).
For lunch, we decided to go to Zora, to try what they give other tourists for lunch.
Bought vouchers at the reception. To be honest, I liked the lunch. Two types of soup, two types of the second (meat and lean), two types of side dishes, several salads, dessert, fruit. You can take as much as you want, you can't take it out. We thought that eating at the hotel is definitely cheaper.

We also bought an excursion to Nessebar at the hotel. Cool excursion. But the road through the pass. Horror. It's a good thing we didn't drive the car ourselves. Sunny Beach disappointed, it’s good that we didn’t listen to advice and didn’t go there to rest.

In a nutshell, we had a great time. Of course, if there were extra 1500-2000 euros, they would take a hotel on line 1. But we do not regret at all that we chose Zora, for this money it is the best hotel in Golden Sands.
