I want to share my "rest" in the sanatorium "Praleska" in the Gomel region, Zhlobin district. The hitherto very respected "Intourist" (a branch on Dmitrovskaya) "righted" us there.
A terrible children's pioneer camp, and not a sanatorium-boarding house, as they tried to present to us. I don't want to offend the staff who tried very, very hard to brighten up our stay there. There were about 20 other "burdocks" like us, the rest were Belarusian kids aged 5 to 14. The wretchedness is terrible, the food is disgusting, the only bus that went to the nearest town Zhlobin 2 times a day! There is nowhere to go in the area. No recreational activities, the darkness is terrible! (lanterns only at the entrance near the road), you can’t even go out for a walk in the evening. I can’t speak about the medical procedures that I was so praised at the agency, everything is practically “pre-revolutionary”. Thank you, mother nature saved, otherwise it would be completely possible to howl. And the cost - 1200 per day, is also considerable. Dear future tourists, please avoid the above-named establishment and agency too. It is a pity for the vacation time, which you are waiting for a whole year, nerves, strength and money.
