But plans had to be changed - a friend persuaded me to go to the Arteks recreation club. In his opinion, such a replacement would make our vacation less stressful and more enjoyable - this is the `Russian Club`... We did not break for a long time - after all - a foreign country and any recommendations are not only appropriate, but also useful...
As a result - a leisurely three-hour trip to very beautiful places - Algonquin Park, and we ended up in such an amazing place that it is rather difficult to describe. But it is necessary!
First, the place itself is 20 acres of stunning forest with almost a kilometer of coastline. The southwestern exposition of the coastline allows you to be under the rays of the sun from morning to evening... The coastline itself - the beach is located under the crowns of the relic Canadian cedar... In general, there are no mosquitoes and other vile midges, which is usually one of the main irritants during outdoor recreation. The purest, almost drinking water in the Madawaska River... fishing (and I am an experienced fisherman and it’s hard to surprise me with anything) thanks to the amazing organizational art of the owners - they specially prepared several places on the shore just for fishing - fishing turns from a purely male occupation, often quite boring, in an exciting pastime, accompanied (in my case, by a beloved woman) with drinks, snacks, smart conversations... and all other attributes of a collective, well-thought-out vacation.
Secondly: living conditions - 3-5 *. We got 5*. Stylish cleanliness and graceful simplicity of the interiors are the signature style. Then I looked (the builder himself) at the interior solutions and I can say - With great taste! And just for outdoor recreation.
But perhaps the most important advantage is the unobtrusive assistance to rest by the staff. Feeling - I'm in the country with old friends. This contrasts so much with traditional hotel services in the USA, as we saw in Canada (according to a friend), that a very interesting psychological effect arises - as if you have spent your whole life here, since childhood.
In general, by the end of the second day, we had already completely, already voluntarily abandoned the originally planned route and spent the rest of our vacation at the Artex club with pleasure.
