The Czech Republic is an amazing country! I want to come back again and again...
Good time of the day! I don’t know how to write beautifully, and I won’t remember everything now, because I’m writing my review almost a year later. So, the three of us went to the Czech Republic (me, mom, girlfriend), booked a ticket with teztours (no complaints). We flew with Yakutia, also there were no complaints, the departure was on time, the food was good (hot meals, although the flight took 2 hours), attentive flight attendants, landing and takeoff were soft. So we flew in, at the end of June it was cool +18, which for us southern people is very cool, but we knew where we were flying, so we took a couple of warm things with us. Since we flew for the first time, having purchased a ticket, we were terribly dumb at the airport and could not find the meeting party, but everything worked out for us (it turned out that our travel agency was supposedly an intermediary and we had to look not for a teztour, but for a pack group).
They put us in a minibus, let's tell what and how, they told us everything in detail, gave out excursion prices, a card and public transport tickets for several trips, for the first time. During the time when we got to the hotel, we were given a choice of excursions (before the trip, I looked at all the sights and things to see, so I knew in advance where and what I want to see). They dropped us off first, the guide came out with us, went into the hall, paid for the excursions, she answered our questions, explained everything again. We checked in (no one spoke Russian in our hotel, so you need to know at least a little English). Our hotel was located in a very convenient location (ibis is a small country), the center is nearby, shopping centers, cafes, metro, etc. A couple of hours later we went to the center to get acquainted with Prague and of course we had to exchange currency, that's what we need to be attentively.
They fool all the time, count a hundred times, our guide Natalia marked on the map where you can exchange, to be honest, we found it with difficulty, although it is located in the center, not far from Wenceslas Square (I don’t remember the name). On the second day we went on a tour "Introduction to Prague", the guide told interesting stories (by the way, all the guides were good, they told very "tasty"), for about an hour we were driven around the city on a big bus, the second part was a walking tour, it began it is somewhere around Vitus Cathedral. There are a lot of tourists everywhere, you have to queue up to take a picture, near the Cathedral of St. Vita is completely unrealistic. We said goodbye to the guide already, near the Tyn Church, the guide told where you can buy inexpensive souvenirs and where to eat. The farther from the tour. center, the tastier and not so expensive.
The next day (by the way, it got noticeably warmer and the sun came out, which naturally pleased us) was free for us and we just decided to take a walk again, no longer hurrying anywhere, around the city and normally make photographs. The fourth day we had an excursion to Cesky Krumlov, a very beautiful town, small, with very interesting stories. Krumlov is the south, it was hot and even very hot. We saw enough, took beautiful pictures, bought some souvenirs (and Anabel the witch doll), ate our fill in the tavern "Maria's" (everything is insanely delicious, inexpensive, the portions are just huge and the Russian menu, which is very good, plus we were lucky, the musical accompaniment, because rich tourists dined with us, they ordered). In general, we were delighted with everything we saw, heard, tried))) Then we had a trip to Vienna (to be honest, we are not very good, it is better to go to Bavaria or Budapest).
The road took 4 hours, the weather changed, then rain, then the sun, but the fields of tulips, of course, are something. Everyone groaned and gasped, and even the men were delighted. It was hot in Vienna, there was nothing special to see, so once two walked through the center and that's it, then we were led to a cafe, the owner of which, from somewhere in the CIS. As always, they gave us time to walk around, buy souvenirs, we went to a small shop with sweets, I wanted to buy everything. Everything is so beautifully packaged, everything is just mi mi mi... So we bought Viennese coffee (I don’t advise), various sweets, magnets and of course the famous rose and violet petals in sugar (the same ones that Sisi loved), about everything cost about 70-80 euros. In the center, everything is terribly expensive, after walking a little you can buy a magnet, a pen not for 5 euros, but for 2. Although I expected more, but the very fact that we were there.
The fifth day - a trip to Karlovy Vary (well, where without them).
I really liked the town, I plan to return again, but just for relaxation. We just got on the day when some kind of international film festival was taking place there. These pretty little gingerbread houses, mineral springs, everything is just amazing. By the way, there are very inexpensive dinners and portions, as always mega huge (by the way, don’t say thank you until you have given change, otherwise the waiter will think that you gave him a tip, since you said thank you, we didn’t know that). And of course, try Karovsky payments - these are such delicious waffles! The final day was the day of castles, in Konopiste and Karlstejn. So, we went up to Karlstejn on horse-drawn carts (if I'm not mistaken, about 50-150 h. kroons per person, I don't remember exactly), of course, it was possible on foot, but it was hard to get to the top, and it was also raining. You still have to walk a little to the castle itself, wear comfortable shoes, there are pebbles, everything is felt.
Right inside the castle, we did not enter, who wanted to go, but the guide did not advise. We looked around the courtyard and took pictures. Karlstejn is a majestic fortress, I really liked it. We went back down on our own, there is a cafe below, everything is very tasty there, especially pancakes with hot berries and ice cream (I have never tried such delicious ones anywhere else). The next day we were taken to the airport, it was difficult to say goodbye, we liked everything very much, there were no minuses. In general, Prague is a very beautiful city, with paving stones that give a certain charm, cute turrets, insanely delicious food with huge portions, the city is safe, police officers are everywhere, they react instantly. A city where they will prompt, stopping very often and not knowing what and how, our compatriots (former) helped us, having heard their native speech, they stopped and helped. The city is inexpensive, probably like ours (prices are about the same as in Sochi).
The ticket also cost about 80k. R. for two, the maximum I spent on everything (excursions, food, souvenirs, bought shoes) was about 1000 euros. I want to return to this amazing country again and again....
