Krakow in the evening - a complete immersion in the Middle Ages: narrow streets lit by ancient lanterns (low windows of pubs and cafes), a square with a town hall, a bugler announcing the time... a royal road and a castle towering over the Vistula... I wonder how it looks in daylight?

Dresden. Saxony.

Everything has its measure, even steps - you don’t have to look under your feet when you walk on them - they are designed for a human step, and if the cafe told you that dinner will be served in 5 minutes - be calm - the last dish will be served at the end of 5 minutes. This struck me the most - here it is German pedantry! What kept me in the Zwinger (Dresden Gallery) for a long time (I wanted to take it with me&; ) is the painting “Chocolate Girl” (I can’t write the author correctly) – no photo can convey the master’s work – it’s fascinating – you seem to be immersed in it – into a mystery – how can you DRAW like that – after all, even a photo will not convey the object so vividly… it was worth going here for the sake of it… Interestingly, other works of this master are not at all impressive – as if unfinished…

Bridges, Gothic spiers of cathedrals, cobblestone pavements. . . the streets are a cabinet of curiosities of different styles of architecture, as if the houses were arranged by a child - who was guided not by ideas, but by his childish taste - bright and cheerful. And the people there live cheerful and kind.

And all the pompous sick adults have gone to Karlovy Vary

There are mountains, a river, a geyser (72 degrees (Celsius in the sense; )), pump rooms with medicinal water (which must be drunk hot, because when cooled below 30 degrees, it ceases to be curative and acts as a laxative), and of course boarding houses and hotels - everything is decorous, beautiful and calm - a resort.

I would like to be a resident of the town (150 thousand population) - Czech Krumlov. Somehow everything is home-cozy, it smells deliciously of a knee cooking on an open fire (the national dish of the Czechs). The rivulet, strangely meandering, flows through the whole city, an overhanging old castle, with creepy stories, adds interest and intrigue;

And for dessert - Vienna. Austria.

Wings grow here - you want something unearthly... Listen to Mozart... the boys' choir. Wide avenues, many parks and squares - thoughtful architecture. Here it was no longer the boy who “created” the city, but the husband. Here I want to stay for 3 years - to live as a student: to learn, to resemble concerts, maybe to create something;? ! And the people here are different - well-groomed ladies in long robes (skirts, fur coats), in high-heeled shoes, tastefully selected expensive, but modest jewelry... Men have to match...

The city of horses - in the very center of the city, the operating royal stables - and the sight of horses prancing around the city - add spice to the city.

Upon returning home, it became sad - and the feeling was the end of some kind of childhood dream - a fairy tale. And the phrase: “It was as if 12 had struck and the carriage became a pumpkin... ” of one tourist was a direct hit to the very point: at the moment - they just crossed the border - the road from smooth - became increased impassability, colorful houses - became gray and dirty tones.
