Hello everybody!
I would like to share my impressions about the trip to the Czech Republic, to the Moravian "Karlovy Vary", to the resort town of Luhacovice (population 6000 people).
We chose the resort for a long time, but we stopped there, because according to the indications for treatment, it approached the best (the main direction of treatment is the musculoskeletal system, respiratory system and vascular diseases).
We chose the Miramare 3* hotel. It consists of 3 buildings, competently interconnected by transitions. Buildings are 4-, 5-storey with elevators.
Dining rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. The diet can be chosen in consultation with the doctor.
We went with my husband, age - 54 and 60 years. In this sanatorium, people mostly of retirement age have a rest.

We settled in a 3 * hotel, as there are better conditions. But I want to note that 3 * at a very high level. Double room, 30 sq. m. , sofa area, plumbing and furniture are new, renovated, clean, comfortable. Cleaned every day, there were towels and bathrobes in which you can go to the procedures and to the pool.
They were very satisfied with the treatment. Husband was chosen: 1 week - complex 18+, i. e. 18 procedures per week.
Immediately, I note that the hotel's website is very clear, reliable and convenient. All procedures are described, there are prices. Contacts too.
You can easily contact the hotel manager and ask questions. We personally contacted the manager Ivana, she speaks good Russian. A very nice and sweet woman.
All bookings were made online.
Let's get back to treatment. The next week my husband had a "senior-plus".
She also took "senior-plus" and "a week of bliss for women" for herself.
We got to the place by train. From Belorussky railway station. Moscow-Prague.
We drove to Olomouc, about 30 hours, in a 1st class compartment (190 euros per person, one way). 1st class - 2 people in a compartment, and so three. We were satisfied with the train. Minus - they stood for a long time in Poland and the Czech Republic (but these stops were provided for by the schedule, so)). The ticket was purchased 60 days in advance.
The transfer was booked at the hotel. 56 euro round trip.
The car was a Mercedes. Great transfer, nice and helpful driver.
We did the visa and insurance ourselves at the Visa Center. I will note with a special point that all documents from the hotel must be FAXED! Necessarily! Otherwise, the visa may be denied.
Europe struck with its cleanliness, hospitality and good attitude towards Russians.
The spa town of Luhacovice is very quiet and cozy. Beautiful promenade through the forest and along the river. And how the birds sang there! Polyphony 24 hours a day! The beauty!
5 springs with mineral water.
Bottom line: it’s easy to organize a trip yourself, saving on the face. Everything is reliable and tested on itself.
Good luck and have a good rest!
