Akat was chosen by me according to two criteria: cheapness and proximity to the metro. Everything is true, but about the pros and cons in order.
Pros:
1) Location. Many of the other tourists overpay for finding a hotel in the city center, but Akat is so conveniently located that you can easily and quickly get to anywhere in the city from it. Metro, trams, buses run near it, even the railway station is nearby (this is a big plus, since it is cheap and convenient to travel around the country on your own)
2) Cheapness. Yes, yes.
3) Friendly staff. When I needed a train schedule, the girl at the reception helped me, explained that their trains are sometimes late, etc.
4) View from the window. Other tourists even envied me - the view was on the Vysehrad castle. (At least from my room 110)
Minuses:
1) The windows did not close tightly and were generally wooden. It was saved by the fact that it was September and I was alone in a double room - I moved away from the window.

2) Under the windows of hours at 6.00 -6.30 a tractor (an old one, Soviet) drives with a wild roar. Since the windows did not close, the tractor served as an alarm clock, albeit an unpleasant one.
3) Upon check-in, I was warned that they were stealing, so valuables can be handed over to the reception. I did just that, there were no problems. But still this is a minus.
4) There was no air conditioning. I understand that this is normal at this price, but still.
