My husband and I stayed at the Ibis hotel in April of this year. For a long time we could not decide which of the Ibis chains to choose. The manager of the company "Dolce Vita" advised Old Town. We were satisfied. It is an urban-type hotel, so all the rooms are miniature, but capacious and very modern, in general, worthy. There is a hair dryer, TV, a small wardrobe-rack (advice - take fewer things, but more shoes - even the most comfortable one will rub your blisters), shower, toilet. Safe downstairs at reception is free.
The staff hardly speaks Russian, except for the cleaners.
The Swedish breakfast starts early at 6:30 until 10, so it's handy if you have any early excursions planned. The food is standard and includes cheeses, sausages, ham, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruits, watermelon, all kinds of pastries, delicious croissants. but! - in my personal opinion, there are very few vegetables, only tomatoes... The location of the hotel itself is very convenient, near the metro, tram routes to Wenceslas Square about 10 minutes on foot). Nearby is a rather interesting restaurant "Tolsta Koala" (if you are there, try chicken in honey dough and dark beer, very tasty) In general, we recommend it!
