I went to the Czech Republic in a terrible mood, having read reviews about the hotel.
We arrived late in the evening. The lobby is very smoky - there is also a smoking area. But fast check-in, friendly staff - and we are in the room. There is shampoo and soap, linen is normal, towels (2 pcs) were changed every day.
Breakfasts in a beautiful hall: wooden floors, paintings, animal horns - like in a hunting lodge. We have not seen such breakfasts in 3 * neither in the Czech Republic, nor in Poland, nor in Hungary. Fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, muesli, yogurt, milk, muffins are everywhere. But also 4-5 salads, hot potatoes, rice, vermicelli, casseroles, pizza, etc. For 3 days we could not try everything. Perhaps we were lucky - we were on Catholic Easter.
In general, read the reviews - but do not listen to anyone. It can be seen differently in the same place.
