Hotel Splendid 3*. Praha 7, Ovenecka 33.
To be honest, when I first saw the room, I was surprised how tiny it was. However, for the money that we paid, it would be stupid to demand luxury apartments))
Nevertheless, going on an excursion the next morning, we appreciated the extremely pleasant territorial location of the hotel - 30 minutes and you are already on Namesti Republiky (i. e. in the center), then you choose the direction and
enjoy the beauty of the city.
We continue the story about the advantages of the territorial location, but if you go from the hotel not to the right, but to the left (from the center), you get into a marvelous park, overcoming it in a straight line you can walk to the Premyslova 259 Zoo / Botanical Garden, all in the same 30 minutes.
You’d better read about the uniqueness of the local zoo in the guidebook or guide, or see for yourself, but I don’t need to mention this here, except that even a day spent in the park is not enough for a full inspection of it.

Not far from the hotel are Letensky gardens (Letenske sady) through which you can go to the Royal Gardens (Krá lovská zahrada), once you are near the Prague Castle (Prazsky hrad).
After acclimatization, the Splendid Hotel became familiar and warm, the room was cozy.
The room was cleaned, towels changed, a modest Central European breakfast is quite pleasant, completely standard for three rubles: cereal, sausages, vegetable-rice mixture, cheese, ham, several salads, eggs,
bread / toast muffins one two kinds, tea, coffee, water, maybe I missed something.
The staff is friendly, as always, we had very few questions, you can get a hair dryer for a deposit of 200 kroons.
p. s. if it’s better to learn about the sights from the guide, then buying souvenirs, after listening to the recommendations, it’s better to turn around the corner and see what’s going on there.
Being experienced tourists, nevertheless, they got stuck on Becherovka, our guide convinced that lemon and honey are sold exclusively in Karlovy Vary, of course, at the most pleasant price.
in Karlovy Vary we bought honey for 250 kroons where we advised, our friends a little further from the "best place" for 230 kroons, in Prague in Bill's shop near the hotel it was sold for 149 kroons)))
So, friends, it's better to overdo it than not do it; )
