In Berlin - the hotel is good, transport accessibility is excellent, from the central station and the Reichstag - 3 stops on S-Bach or 30 minutes on foot. The hotel fulfills its stars. The view of West Berlin is especially pleasant - in the foreground is the TV tower, then the town hall, you can see the Sony Center, the Reichstag and the Central Station. If you ask for rooms from xx01 to xx09, you will contemplate screaming people flying down past the windows - there is a bungee from the roof of the hotel on the 37-38th floor. Breakfast is quite so German and hearty - fried meat in different forms, fresh buns, a thermos coffee pot on every table, all sorts of yoghurts available.
of the minuses is not the hotel but the operator Ostrovok. ru (aka expedition.
com): free Wi-Fi at the hotel turned out to be PAYED 18 euros per day, I had a room positioned as an island as a suite - in fact, it turned out that the room WITHOUT WINDOWS INSIDE the hotel and costs more than with a view of West Berlin (by the way, if there is a choice - on don’t take a look at East Berlin - you will see South Butovo 1:1) in short, try using other Internet services except for the expedition island
About Berlin itself - well, what can you expect from a city that was first bombed for several months and then fought desperately for every house - the whole city - a remake is the most pleasant IMHO corner - the Sony Center area where the Berlinale takes place - the most honest and futuristic remake - I liked it. We walked around the city with a Russian guide - we liked it and in general it was not expensive - whoever needs it - I will give the coordinates.
