Was with friends from 9 to 11 December in Berlin.
A little about preparation. Gathered on a trip somewhere in 10-12 days. It can be said spontaneously. Plane tickets were taken on sale. The hotel was booked online. I'll make a digression, hotels and food in Berlin are much cheaper than in Paris. The three of us ate near the Brandenburg Gate, this is the center of West Berlin (about 10 meters from them) in a restaurant, we paid 43.56 €. We each took a knuckle (pork leg with stewed cabbage about 700-900 grams per serving), 2 meters of beer and pretzels. A room for three per night cost 53 €. We did not think to see the city of Potsdam, but Lida spoke about it with such admiration that we could not resist! We spent 10 hours in Potsdam and we did not have time to see everything. If you are in Berlin, be sure to visit Potsdam, you will not regret the time spent, this is a beautiful city. The Christmas markets, their atmosphere, carousels, open-air eateries made a great impression. It really does feel like you're in a fairy tale. Berlin turned out to be an interesting and beautiful city. Another vivid impression was made by the place where the chancellor lives here. Her apartment is located on Museum Island, in an ordinary apartment building. Where ordinary people live. This is the fact that struck me the most. True, one policeman is on duty near the entrance.
We want to come to Berlin again and see Dresden, Lida told us so many interesting things about it that we will definitely return! The impression from the trip was the most positive and pleasant.
