Romantic weekend in Berlin
My husband and I went to Berlin last weekend. He had already been to this city many times for work, but in principle he didn’t really see anything there. And this time, since the meeting was scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday was free for a joint holiday.
We are staying at a very interesting hotel:
Hotel Schlosshotel im Grunewald AlmaBerlin
Around the forest, lakes, stunning villas, silence and the hotel itself seemed to be transferred from the past. And besides, it turned out to be only 10 minutes by taxi to the center of Berlin.
We spent the first evening in the company of my husband's colleagues in a restaurant somewhere on the Kurfü rstendamm (they say it was the main street of West Berlin). Everything was very tasty, but most of all, we were struck by the fact that we heard the birds singing. At first I thought that it was a sound recording, but it turned out that these were real birds singing in different voices.
In our city, apart from sparrows and crows, there are no other birds to be found, but here in the center, next to the road and people, such beauties sing absolutely fearlessly, enjoying life ! ! !
Unfortunately, on the same evening it turned out that my beloved would not be able to spend the whole Saturday day with me, but only a few hours, so that I would not be bored alone, he ordered me a guide by phone so that we could walk together and she would show me everything interesting. I was terribly upset, the prospect of spending time not with my loved one, but with no one knows who this day was, did not appeal to me. But, there is nothing to do and I chose the lesser of two evils. The next day we met with the guide, it was Victoria Klyueva (I know this for sure, because at the end I took a business card from her, this is my hobby of collecting business cards)))
Since my mood was not particularly good, Vika immediately understood this and somehow said in a friendly way that Potsdam could best handle the task of raising my mood, so I had to go there.
I was, by and large, anyway, and I did not object. And how did I do it right? !
Simply stunning, cute, cozy town. I was delighted with the pictures of nature, with silence. And what kind of parks, architectural ensembles are there, and how many places for photography. It’s a pity the weather was cloudy and I forgot my camera, I had to take photos on my phone, but despite this, I really liked the city! ! ! We walked, laughed, I tried Potsdam beer (to be honest: I DID NOT UNDERSTAND, BUT I TRIED)))
Vicki had interesting examples from the history of Germany on almost any topic. In fact, she knows a lot! ! ! I remember what was interesting, but I don’t remember what they told
In general, everything was great! It's a pity without Lesha.
Looks like next time...
This is the restaurant of our hotel where we had breakfast
The cow on the right is the coat of arms of the princess for whom the palace was built. Apparently, in the old days, women were not particularly worried about the image of a cow on the doors leading to her house)))
I just liked the flowerbed
Spring came! ! !
Ours excelled here as well. . .
